GOALPRIME ORGANIZATION NIGERIA’s Post

Yesterday the GOALPrime Organisation Nigeria (GPON) Zamfara team carried out an official visit to 13 selected schools in Anka Local Government Area (LGA) as part of the ongoing project implementation. The visit focused on key areas to strengthen educational outcomes and student well-being: Engagement with Head Teachers – The team collected enrollment data while assessing attendance trends, retention rates, and barriers to access. Learner Profiling Preparation – School leaders were briefed on the upcoming learner profiling exercise, ensuring they understood its purpose in tailoring educational resources to students' needs. School Clubs Assessment – The team evaluated the presence and functionality of school clubs, gathering insights on student participation and identifying challenges limiting extracurricular activities. Facility Inspection – A crucial part of the visit was assessing gender-segregated latrines and overall hygiene standards to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment, especially for girls. This visit reinforced our commitment to fostering an inclusive and conducive learning environment, ensuring that educational initiatives go beyond academics to support the holistic development of every student in Anka LGA.
