Gold mineralization at Delta-1 occurs as two distinct types: The Kasper, South, Creek and Mattawin gold occurrences are hosted by thin horizons of sulphidic and graphitic chert and chert breccia (perhaps sulphidic iron formations). At the Kasper gold occurrence, a banded iron formation is also observed. The rocks are ankeritized and silicified and characterized by an abundance of sulphide (dominantly pyrite with lesser arsenopyrite). At the Eureka and Wedge Gold occurrences gold is associated with an organized stockwork of quartz-ankerite-pyrite veinlets ranging from 1mm to 10cm in width. Multiple generations of mineralized veinlets are observed. ❓ DYK: The core sample shown below, collected during this year’s drill program at our Palmer Copper-Zinc VMS Project in Alaska, is semi-massive pyrrhotite (iron sulphide) with disseminated chalcopyrite. WHAT IT MEANS: Pyrrhotite is commonly found in VMS deposit stringer zones, which are feeder zones that occur below the massive sulphide zone, and are an indicator of mineralization. AuMEGA Metals (formerly Matador Mining Limited) recently identified a new gold-in-bedrock anomalism at the Malachite Project located along the Cape Ray Shear Zone in Newfoundland, Canada which included drillhole CRC0142 grading 127 ppb gold from 6 to 7 metres (MAL RC-04). The results from the initial batch and second batch demonstrate the significant level of gold anomalism defined by the winter RC drill program with results delivering #gold values from 25 to 200 times greater than average crustal abundance. The combination of gold and pathfinder anomalism in bedrock with multigram prospecting samples suggests significant mineralised fluid flow and potential for large under-cover gold deposits. In Pursuit of Precious Gold: How Does the Gold Mining Process Work?

We’re pleased to advise the completion of an initial Mineral Resource Estimate for the Golden Forty Gold deposit within the Tennant Creek Mineral Field ➡️   Some highlights: - Total Mineral Resource: 935Kt @ 4.5g/t for 133,900oz of gold. - Indicated Resource: 706Kt @ 5.0g/t for 113,200oz. - Initial metallurgical sampling shows >95% gold recovery.   Michael Dunbar, our Managing Director commented, "The Golden Forty Resource has exceeded all expectations, with the recent drilling identifying a very high-grade domain which contains 77,000oz of gold at 9.3g/t and is mainly Indicated, leading to an increase to the previous JORC 2004 resource by around 300% to 133,900oz of gold.”   Development studies being progressed by our Joint Venture partner, Tennant Consolidated Mining Group, are expected to lead to a substantial increase in the current Tennant Creek Ore Reserves of 79,140oz.   Read the full announcement here ➡️ https://bit.ly/3QzJyXn   #EmmersonResources #ERM #GoldMining #ASXNews
