Our Golden Pass LNG team had a blast participating in the 14th Annual Omegas of Greater Lake Charles Scholarship Golf Tournament, a fundraiser that provides scholarship opportunities to local graduating high school seniors in Southwest Louisiana. Since 2008, the OGLC has provided over $45,000 in scholarships through this annual tournament!
The Golden Pass Pipeline runs through Southwest Louisiana, with a compressor station in Starks that connects to natural gas markets across the country.
Thanks to all of our employees for participating in this fantastic tradition in support of empowering our future leaders.

From OPEA - #oepa works to promote and protect the rights of vertical oil and gas producers in Oklahoma. Having been in existence for only 5 short years, we have built a significant membership base, established firm relationships at the Oklahoma State Legislature and the Oklahoma Corporation Commission as well as have engaged positively with the general public, garnering overwhelming support for many of our initiatives.
Along with a full-time lobbyist representing us each day at the state capitol, our board of directors and members from across the state are continuously meeting with members of the legislature to press a small business oil and gas producer agenda.
Our regulatory affairs committee works daily with the Oklahoma Corporation providing significant feedback on issues that face our industry each and every day. The impact of these efforts has already been monumental.
We work with a litigation team in place to represent producers who have lost their vertical wells to horizontal frack jobs; on a contingency fee basis.
The Oklahoma State Legislature and the Oklahoma Corporation Commission are the key regulatory and elected bodies we work with as an organization. We strive to not only educate and promote our industry through our association, but we encourage each of our members to have a strong relationship with their own Senators and Representatives. Our staff provides tools and resources to members as well as legislators. We provide various opportunities through events, meetings and general communications for our members and legislators to network. OEPA also works tirelessly to have each legislator aware of the issues our industry faces on a daily basis.
It is also important that we advocate- when we have the opportunity- for our state to provide the resources necessary to the Oklahoma Corporation Commission so they can continue to support our ever-changing industry. We value each Commissioner and the staff at the OCC.

Fiscally, Alaska is a state that is run by the Top20%, non-rez industries & oil for the benefit of the Top20%, non-rez industries & oil. Again fiscally, the Other 80% are just viewed as another resource to be harvested for the Top20%, et al's benefit. #akleghttps://lnkd.in/gjzXsnHe

Resilience, Decarbonization & Mitigation Strategy & Impact at Pew
My colleague Carter Harms out today with a piece on how states are leveraging advanced transmission technologies to achieve efficiency, resiliency and cost savings. Did you know…. Montana was one of the first states to promote the use of ATTs with a 2023 bill that provides incentives for utilities to deploy advanced reconductors. And so far in 2024, Arizona, Maine, Minnesota, New York, and Virginia have passed bills to boost ATT deployment, with California still considering legislation. Read more 👇🏼The Pew Charitable Trusts
