I have found that one of the hidden roles of a mediator extends beyond resolving disputes alone. In some cases, mediators are needed to guide parties through the implementation phase of the agreement and ensure that the terms and conditions agreed upon are followed through to completion. By acting as a guiding entity, mediators assist parties navigate through challenges, promote collaboration, and ensure that the final results are mutually beneficial.
