We're building a stronger team! At Independence Hall and Williamsburg Landing in Wilton Manors, FL, we will host a special employee appreciation event—an International Potluck to celebrate our fantastic staff! On Wednesday, April 24, team members will be able to share a dish famous from their hometown or heritage. We hope all participants will share the story behind their dish, creating a vibrant exchange of cultures and experiences. But the fun doesn't stop there! To add a touch of friendly competition, we'll be hosting a tug-of-war battle between our two communities! This is a fantastic opportunity to build relationships, celebrate diversity, and have some laughs along the way. We're excited to bring our teams together for this unique event and recognize their dedication to providing exceptional care for our residents. #EmployeeAppreciation #Teamwork #EmployeeEngagement #DiversityandInclusion #TeamBuilding #SeniorCare #SeniorLiving #IndependenceHall #WilliamsburgLanding #GoldenBell #WiltonManors

So proud of my amazing team at Embassy of Pickerington! Our campus was recognized by Embassy Healthcare for achieving the best employee retention rates for our Ohio based facilities! Our YTD turnover rate is running around 10%! The people in this picture with me are the reason behind this success! Here are some things we do really well that I think make a difference: 1) Embrace imperfection and strive to improve 2) Treat others with kindness while speaking directly and clearly 3) Teach, model and enforce your core values (Teamwork, Respect, Excellence, and Knowledge) 4) Refuse to accept any behavior that hinders your team or impedes the care of your residents and staff 5) Celebrate individual and team milestones and accomplishments 6) Support your team members if life gets hard for them 7) Have a ton of fun There’s obviously much more I can say, but I don’t want to make this a novel. Way to go team- I’m proud of you! #employeeretention #excellence #teamwork #respect #knowledge

Shifting Perspectives on Workplace Celebrations In many workplaces, it's common to see farewells marked with elaborate send-offs and heartfelt goodbyes. Yet, when it comes to celebrating promotions, new hires, or other achievements, the fanfare often falls short. This begs the question: Why the disparity in recognition? Could it be a reflection of underlying cultural norms within organizations? Perhaps it's time to reevaluate our approach to workplace celebrations and consider the impact they have on morale, engagement, and overall company culture. What are the thoughts on how we can cultivate a culture of appreciation and recognition for all milestones, big and small. 🎉💼 Like & Follow For More! #QualityCollaboration #OperationalExcellence #ContinuousImprovement #ProblemSolving #QualityCulture #qualityengineering #OrganizationalSuccess #CQE #ProcessImprovement #QualityManagement #DataDrivenDecisions #StrategicImprovement #KnowledgeSharing #ControlConcepts #qualityengineer #TechnologyIntegration #QualityControl #QualityMindset #WorkplaceCulture #EmployeeRecognition #MilestoneCelebrations

Did you know the worker bee is a symbol of Manchester? Being a business synonymous with Greater Manchester, of course, we have colleague beekeepers and onsite hives. Yesterday, Lauren Walters and I had the chance to do something a little different at lunchtime, getting up close and personal with over 20,000 of our buzzing friends. This got us both thinking about the similarities between busy bees and excellent employee engagement. Just like bees in a hive, successfully engaged teams thrive on collaboration, communication and a shared purpose. 🐝 Community: Just like bees work together, building a strong team spirit boosts morale and productivity. 🐝 Purpose: Every bee has a role and purpose. Aligning employees with the company’s mission, purpose and values increases motivation and job satisfaction. 🐝 Communication: Bees communicate well to keep things running smoothly. Open, two-way communication in the workplace leads to better teamwork and innovation. 🐝 Recognition: Just as beekeepers appreciate the hard work of their bees, recognising employees in an authentic and timely way can boost engagement. #KeolisAmey #KeolisAmeyMetrolink #Metrolink #MovingGreaterManchester #EmployeeEngagement #EmployeeExperience #TeamWork

🌟 Celebrating National Employee Appreciation Day 🌟 Today, as we honor the incredible contributions of our teams, I'm reminded of Adam Grant's transformative perspective on team dynamics. His advice to "keep the wrong people off the bus" rather than simply focusing on "getting the right people on the bus" resonates deeply, especially today. (source: https://lnkd.in/gpe3PP7S) Adam's approach underscores the profound impact of cultivating a positive and productive team environment. It's not just about assembling a team with the right skills but ensuring the absence of those who detract from our collective mission and values. This philosophy has inspired me to be more mindful of who we bring into our teams, emphasizing a harmonious blend of talent, integrity, and compatibility. On National Employee Appreciation Day, let's not only celebrate the remarkable individuals who contribute to our successes but also reflect on how we can foster an inclusive and supportive workplace culture. By keeping the wrong people off the bus, we pave the way for our teams to thrive, innovate, and achieve greatness together. Here's to appreciating our teams and building brighter futures together! #IAmClayton #EmployeeAppreciationDay #TeamDynamics #AdamGrant #Leadership #WorkplaceCulture

Director and Ops Co-ordinator - striving for continuous improvements for our team, our clients, our candidates and the industries I am passionate about..
Feedback has always played a big part of our culture - regular 121s, well-being surveys, training feedback, client and candidate surveys, informal opportunities to chat…… To build on this, we’ve recently started polling our team much more regularly. We know how important 360 feedback is for any organisation but also how important frequent snapshots are too. A lot can happen in just a few months! The result below represents 1 of 15 questions asked to each member of staff (anonymously) and will help us understand better what’s working well, what we need to improve, how our team are feeling, if their job roles are clear, their work stress levels as well as a chance to offer suggestions and ideas to keep improving our team’s work life at ARV Solutions. Feedback is essential to any organisation and building a picture through regular, consistent questioning is a great way for employers and employees to reflect, share, listen, improve and celebrate the great stuff Our first pulse survey of 2024 showed hugely positive results - which is fantastic for the whole team but it’s not meant as a back patting excercise but to continually improve and grow. 😊 #culture #listenandlearn #feedback #celebrate #teamcollaboration
We're thrilled to share some results from our recent internal survey: 100% of our team feel they are happy with the recognition and feedback they have received! 🌟 Thank you for making our workplace culture so incredible! If you're interested in joining our lovely team in Bristol, where recognition and reward are at the heart of everything we do, we'd love to hear from you! Happy Holi …. Holi, with its vibrant colors and jubilant atmosphere, offers valuable insights applicable in the workplace. As people come together to celebrate, they exemplify the essence of teamwork, emphasizing the importance of collaboration. Just as individuals unite to drench each other in colors, employees should join forces to accomplish tasks and overcome challenges, fostering a sense of camaraderie and unity within the organization. Moreover, Holi transcends social barriers, bringing people from diverse backgrounds together in a spirit of harmony and inclusivity. Similarly, workplaces can cultivate an environment where individuals of different ethnicities, genders, and perspectives feel valued and respected, fostering innovation and creativity. The festival's playful ambiance inspires creativity and innovation, encouraging employees to explore new ideas and approaches. By providing a supportive environment that nurtures innovation, organizations can stay ahead of the curve and drive growth. Furthermore, Holi encourages people to let go of past grievances and start afresh with renewed positivity and goodwill. Similarly, in the workplace, promoting forgiveness and conflict resolution helps create a supportive environment where employees feel valued and respected. Incorporating these principles into the workplace can lead to a more collaborative, inclusive, and positive work environment, ultimately driving organizational success and employee satisfaction. Wish all a colourful and happy Holi. #ppinsights #mondaymantra #happyholi
