Austin, TX was the epicenter of the racing world this past weekend with the US Grand Prix hosted at the Circuit of the Americas featuring two days of qualifying and time trials leading into the main event on Sunday. SHG provided a unique hospitality experience for our F1 team sponsor client bringing in a custom tailgating vehicle to the premium RV lot nestled right up against the track where they could see and feel these marvels of engineering zoom past at 220mph. We provided multiple meal services daily with an open bar as partners and customers rotated through during the three day event to network and enjoy a different race and hospitality experience vantage point. Additional services included all pre-event logistical communication, event branding, golf cart shuttle management to and from the RV hospitality and race entrance, race tickets, guest parking passes, RV premium parking pass and vehicle procurement and on-site event staff for 3 days of execution. I am a TopGolf FAN. For those of you unfamiliar with TopGolf it is a sport entertainment complex that features a high-tech golf game that can be played by anyone regardless of their golfing ability. Founded in Watford, England in 2000, it expanded to the U.S. in 2005. In 2022, TopGolf had more than 31 million players across its more than 95 venues, online games, and third-party driving ranges. Using its Toptracer technology, TopGolf's overall aim is to get as many people as possible swinging a club, while dispelling the notion of golf as an exclusive activity. According to CMO Geoff Cottrill, "We are going to have a massive impact on the game of golf over the next five to 10 years". That is certainly impact on one industry! #my2cents

International entertainment and Golf brand, Topgolf has grown in popularity drastically within the last few years as more and more new locations start to pop-up across the U.S. and worldwide. People of every demographic are heading to their closest Topgolf to check out the awesome experience that the brand provides. Topgolf's mission statement is simple, they believe in the unlimited power of play. In addition, it is built on the foundation of inclusivity and supported by the Core Values of Fun, One Team, Excellence, Courage, and Caring. Their purpose is to exist to bring you joy through more ways to play the game of golf and to connect people in meaningful ways through the experiences they create, the innovation they champion, and the good they do. Topgolf playmakers/associates are all about making "moments that matter" for every person that steps into any venue. On social media, Topgolf is great at marketing using the latest trends, while showing off their core values through fun player experiences. For example, the brand has used countless trending memes on their Instagram page and has posted viral TikToks that players post from their time at Topgolf. The overarching theme Topgolf tries to convey through their social media with apps like Instagram and TikTok is that anyone can come enjoy an excellent and fun experience at Topgolf, whether a golfer or not. On Instagram, a video was made about a "first timer's" experience at Topgolf showing off the venue's features and what it has to offer, as well as the great staff experience. Another example of a post they did on Instagram includes a video of DJ Khaled saying he wants to go pro in golf with the caption "Me after every Topgolf session" posted by a Topgolf player. Topgolf connects to me because I have been an associate for over 1 year now with their Baton Rouge location. I work in guest services, I am a Bayhost (server), and I am also an assistant office administrator. I have experience in several positions and I know how they all tie together to create the best experience for our players. I started off at Topgolf as a player and undoubtedly noticed the incredible hospitality of the associates there. I've carried that same hospitality into my work ethic when I started and into the present.
