Making a difference, one clothing bundle at a time with The Children's Place ! Thanks to their generous donation of over 120,000 children’s apparel items, Good+ can provide essential clothing and accessories to the families we serve. Each month, numerous volunteer groups come together to support our mission by assembling clothing bundles for distribution, ensuring that children receive comfortable and stylish apparel for every season. We are immensely grateful to The Children's Place for helping us bridge the essential item gap for our Good+ families, allowing them to invest their energy and resources where they matter most. #ClothingDonations #BacktoSchool #CommunityImpact

This holiday season let’s come together to make a child’s Christmas a little brighter. Join us in our Toys for Tots Toy Drive and bring the magic of the season to children who deserve a reason to smile. 🎁🎄✨ Bring a little joy into a child’s life by donating a new, unwrapped toy. Your gift could be the one that lights up their face on Christmas morning. Rally your friends, family, or coworkers to host a collection drive. Create drop-off points in your community and make it easy for everyone to contribute. Spread the word by sharing Toy Drive information on social media, in your local community groups, and with your network. The more people who know, the more toys we can collect for children in need. If you prefer an online option, consider contributing to our virtual toy drive. Your monetary donation will go towards purchasing toys for kids who may otherwise go without. #BPC #Philanthropy #nonprofit #charity #donation #influence #inspire #bpcfund #foundation #GivingBack #compassion

Over the past three years Youth en Route has helped remove barriers preventing kids from using bicycles for transportation. We have learned a lot about the interests and motivations of kids, parents, and schools, and what challenges and opportunities need attention to move things forward. With that in mind, we have decided to revisit our mission and vision statements, and identify key pillars of focus for the organization. In our latest blog post, Tim Schaefer explains how Youth en Route is evolving and how to get involved with our innovative charity. Read more by following the link: https://lnkd.in/ggkEvYUz

Santo 203 “Secret Snowflakes” Educators, together we can create a world where giving is the norm by providing creative opportunities for students. Our fifth grade students embraced the idea of becoming a “Secret Snowflake” by gifting to community members. One by one the Secret Snowflakes joined to form a blizzard of generosity to our neighbors and local charitable organizations. *Some took time to bake and deliver delicious goodies to neighbors *Others choose to donate to charities online. *Some handpicked gifts destined for the local Children's Hospital. *Others gave to Toys for Tots After the event, a lively discussion took place as students shared their “secret” with classmates. Reflections echoed the research of M. Ames who emphasizes that spending time enriching your community broadens your perceptions of the world. Immersing yourself in a community dedicated to positive change teaches you valuable lessons about how the world works and fosters a unique sense of purpose that often extends to other areas of your life. “The heart of the giver makes the gift dear and precious." - Luther. How do you cultivate a learning environment that not only imparts knowledge but also nurtures compassionate hearts, fostering a generation that understands the true value of giving? #VolunteerImpact #CommunityEngagement #StudentLeadership

Break an Egg! prompt: Share work I admire Link: https://lnkd.in/dhPtmaNb United Way of the Greater Capital Region is doing a special fundraiser, asking people to donate as a way to wish their President and CEO Peter Gannon a happy birthday. Giving has changed in the last two decades and the more micro-donations an organization can get, the more success they'll have. This is a great example of using a special day to your benefit. What special days exist in your organization? Is there something in the next couple of months that you can use as a hook for collecting micro-donations and raise your brand's image?
