Say no to the corner office. With the most recent heat wave I noticed that corner offices with glass on two sides are warm, we are talking 80 degrees. Seemingly unimportant details can make a huge impact on the comfort and satisfaction of employees. If I were offered a corner office, I would have to decline. What appears to be a benefit may turn out to be negative. I remember a while back how I had a regular desk replaced with a new L shaped desk. With an L shaped desk I would find myself putting my elbow on the right side causing me pain.
