🔹 Founder & CEO @ New Politics 🔹 I recruit & help elect transformational leaders who have committed their lives to serving our country 🔹 Politico 50 Power Players
For most people, the new year is a time for reflection and goal-setting. But for us at New Politics, it’s a time for action. That’s because the political cycle lasts two years - so we’re right in the middle of our work. In off years (when there aren’t as many elections), we build the plane. In the on years, we take flight. 2023 was an off year. This means that much of our work revolved around setting up a foundation for what’s to come in 2024. We helped our candidates build teams, train staff, formulate strategic objectives, and identify the path to victory. Off years in politics are like building a startup before it goes public. Our candidates need to know their mission and understand their core values before they even announce their entry into a race. While our work in off years looks a little different, it is instrumental to setting our candidates up for success in the on years. That way, as we begin 2024, our candidates are all poised to take off.

Opencast has been confirmed as one of the UK’s fastest-growing companies in the 2024 Sunday Times 100 – the prestigious annual ranking of Britain’s fastest-growing private companies. Consistently recognised as one of North East England's most rapidly expanding businesses, Opencast has now been placed 75th in the 2024 edition of the UK-wide Sunday Times 100. This national recognition follows Opencast being named earlier this year as the fastest-growing large tech business at the 2024 #NorthernTechAwards. Welcoming our inclusion on the #SundayTimes100 list for the first time, Chief Executive Tom Lawson said: “To be ranked at 75 in this prestigious list is a reflection of our rapid growth and expansion from our North East base to become a UK-wide business. Over the past three years we’ve been able to report an average growth rate of 76.25%.” Tom added: “Our success is not just about our revenue and people numbers. It also lies in the impact of our work on our people, our clients and wider society. It is a result of a huge team effort and I could not be prouder of our people.” Read more: https://lnkd.in/eyAXjV5b #Growth #SundayTimes #NorthEast
