I had an incredible day at the ASC conference at Oval, where the spotlight was on the game-changing implications of generative AI in market research. Connecting with a mix of familiar faces, from ex-colleagues to new counterparts and clients, added an extra layer of richness to the experience. The content was nothing short of provocative, stirring up a storm of thoughts for me, especially as someone deeply entrenched in data collection. These insights are more than just food for thought; they're the building blocks of innovation in my work. Excited to put these learnings into action! A couple of standout moments included research by Zappi and Nexxt Intelligence, pushing the boundaries with more open-ended responses. How do we ensure panellists stay engaged with this shift away from the usual closed-ended surveys? Looking forward to exploring this further. Phil Sutcliffe And the integration of AI/Avatar in surveys—does it truly enhance engagement rates? Alexandra Kuzmina Ethics took center stage in the closing panel discussion, sparking crucial conversations about the implications of AI in market research. So many stimulating discussions; unfortunately, had to skip the DP party, but the day was thoroughly enjoyable! A big thanks to ASC, especially to my old boss Rebecca Cole for organizing this fantastic event. Looking forward to more in the future! 👏 #ASCConference #GenerativeAI #MarketResearch #DataCollection #Innovation #SyntheticData #AIinSurveys #EthicsInTech
