Greetings, truck drivers! Is your personal brand something you've ever considered? You might be thinking, "That's for influencers, not me." But here's the truth: your brand is simply how others see you, and it matters in our industry too. Your reputation as a reliable, safe, and professional driver is your brand. It's what makes dispatchers want to work with you and companies eager to hire you. So, how do you build it? Start by being consistent. Deliver on time, every time. Keep your rig spotless. Be courteous on the road and at drop-offs. Share your expertise on social media or trucking forums. Maybe even start a blog about life on the road. Remember, you're not just moving freight; you're building relationships and a career. Your personal brand is your ticket to better routes, higher pay, and more opportunities. So, what's your brand saying about you? Let's make it roar as loud as your engine!

Trucking companies: 3 hidden reasons why you struggle with driver retention. 1. Great driver retention begins with: How and where you're hiring. (You're probably missing the mark on both.) 2. You're advertising/posting on job boards. 3. You have hired a marketing agency that has turned your fleet into a commodity. #truckingindustry #truckdrivers #transportation

Let's talk about one of the hundreds key-points for Driver Recruiting: 📣 Follow-up's We often see a lot of drivers that apply with multiple companies and most of the times your calls are going to end up not answered. This happens due to the high volume of calls that this applicant/driver is receiving on a hourly/daily basis. We need to ensure ourselves that we are doing everything possible to catch the attention of the driver and have him want to talk to us! There are multiple ways that we can catch someone's attention: 1. Good Voicemail 2. Catchy Text Message 3. Well Ironed Email If at least 1 of these 3 are done perfectly, I can assure you that you are going to receive a ton of interest and calls throughout the day! Most importantly, a key factor to having good applicants is to have a good Lead Generating process, which is going to help you reach out to the audience and have only the qualified drivers to apply, therefore, you will be spending your time, focus and money on the right candidates only! Fusion Now Has the strategy to help you get those applicants turned into hires and we have a million ways to make your Driver Recruitment team successful! Helping Trucking Companies Find Quality Truck Drivers to Hire Online Without Using Traditional Advertising. Family Man l Auto Hauler l Mentor
Earlier today, I had a great meeting with Luka Korosec. He asked a very important question and I thought I would to share with you: What are the top 3 things Truck Drivers look for? While many Drivers may look for many different things when considering working a company I want to share one of the most important ones we discussed: TRUST. Without trust, Drivers will not join your company. Think about it for a moment If you interview a Driver and you don't trust him/her, would you hire the person ? Probably not. So, can potential Drivers trust your company, your recruiting ads, and your recruiters on what they're communicating? When marketing your company to recruit Drivers, building trust from the start is key. It's the foundation that leads to finding Drivers effortlessly, as they are naturally attracted to you and want to work with you. So, how are you building trust to attract potential Drivers? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below It was great talking with you, Luka! #trust #driverrecruitment #truckingcompany

Driving a truck isn’t for everyone. But if you’re responsible for finding and hiring people to pick up or deliver your goods, it can be frustrating to have minimal options from which to choose. Certainly, you can’t force people to apply for this position if they’re not interested. At the same time, there are a few things you can do to raise their interest level, giving you a larger hiring pool.

I help companies become the "Employer of Choice" | Build Talent Pipelines | Culture Innovator | Servant Leader
How I Overcame the "CDL-Driver Shortage" I hear your collective groaning about that worn-out excuse for not having a driver for that trip this weekend. Instead of excuses, let's talk about your 𝗖𝗗𝗟-𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗶𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 and how to build it to produce top talent. Here's how I did it: (𝗕𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆, 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗼-𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲.) 𝟭. 𝗜 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝘆 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗲𝘁 --Say it with me: "There is NO driver shortage!" --Shift your mindset from defeat to winning by committing to being the "employer of choice" for CDL drivers in your area. --Ask yourself: "How can I attract the top CDL-driving talent to my company?" 𝟮. 𝗜 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 --Quit using the same ad you ran five years ago! --Highlight the "WHY" top talent should join your team. --Review, strengthen, and improve your compensation and benefits plan. Commit to top compensation! --Understand: Compensation attracts, but the environment (culture) retains talent. --Survey your current drivers to discover what they love about working on your team. 𝟯. Don’t cherry-pick or over-analyze. --Get your company in front of the candidate. 𝟰. 𝗜 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 --Realize the company is being interviewed just as much as the candidate. They have options! --Know your competition’s offer and culture, and highlight what makes your team unique. --Make a hiring decision on the first interview. This is key! I posted that we were hiring for an Exec. Assistant at www.LandJetting.com 5 days ago. Within that time, we have received MORE than 1,000 emails/resumes; each expressing interest & enthusiasm for the chance to fill the role. A) I am deeply humbled at the amount of interest B) We have had to close the submission window C) Submissions are being combed through with a fine-toothed comb D) We will be starting phone calls and interviews VERY soon E) (I have separated this one for a reason) I am very concerned at how many professionals are currently out of work and feverishly searching; please trust that I know the feeling, as I was driving Uber during the building phase of this company...there IS a light at the end :) D) We now realize that we need to hire for MORE positions We will retain each resume and post upcoming positions in the near future, once we fill the Exec. Assistant position. In the words of my kids..."Daaaang, dad...that's a lot of people that sent resumes. Can you give them all jobs?" #WorkingOnIt
