The NHS Recruitment process madness continues! So, as a potential candidate, I am required to "Give evidence of how I gained each of the essential criteria and a situation where I've used them." These are a few of the essential criteria: -Holder of a current driving licence. -Travel around the County will be required. -The candidate must have access to a vehicle for this. -Ability to work across (not-to-be-named County) and travel to on site meetings, often with short notice. How do I evidence a situation where I previously travelled around the (not-to-be-named) County??? Someone suggested the following responses: -Yes I am - no points -I have been to Cornwall AND Edinburgh AND Birmingham so (not-to-be-named County) represents no problem -I have two actually - both classics -My cars both work and I have been to (not-to-be-named County). Once I had to go out because we forgot to buy a chicken and it was a Sunday. Beginning to wonder whether this job is worth the aggro!!! #NHSEmployers #NHSJobs

What's happened to your canteens? Where do you go to have a break? The University of Lincoln in partnership with the PFEW, Liverpool John Moores University, and The Open University is undertaking a research study into how changes to the police estate, particularly in terms of rest spaces, have affected police officer wellbeing. The study has three stages: focus groups (which have now taken place), a survey, and interviews. Right now we're looking for participants to take part in a survey, where we'll ask you about your rest breaks and the spaces that you have to take them in. This should take no more than 20 minutes to complete. You will also have the opportunity to volunteer to take part in the later stage of interviews if you would like to do so. Participants must be serving officers or staff who have worked within police working spaces such as stations or shared facilities within the last five years. Take part before 3 May 👇 https://lnkd.in/eBUqcgn3

💙😊 It's Good Care Month! 🌈 Hosted by Hertfordshire Care Providers Association, July is Good Care Month. The campaign aims to acknowledge the hard-working caregivers and the services they provide to individuals with additional needs. It also aims to inspire others to consider care work as a viable career choice. Many of the clients who we work with have complex care and support needs. Frequently, the client’s family or friends are unable to meet all the care and support needs alone and need our help to recruit and manage their own care teams. Although the role of a Support Worker is sometimes challenging, it can also be very rewarding. A Support Worker helps our clients to make a positive difference to their lives and helps them to achieve their goals. If support work is something that appeals to you, then check out the available roles here: https://lnkd.in/exnNrbSn Depending on the requirements of the role, you don’t always need qualifications or previous work experience in the sector to get a job as a Support Worker, what is important is having the right values, behaviours and attitudes to work effectively with people who need care and support. #GoodCareMonth #Career #SupportWorker #Carer

Reviewing the history and state surveys of senior living facilities is a crucial step in ensuring safe placements. Here’s how CarePatrol of CarePatrol incorporates this into their process: Reviewing History and State Surveys State Licensing: CarePatrol of CarePatrol checks if the facility is properly licensed and compliant with state regulations, which is fundamental for ensuring safety and quality of care. Survey Reports: They review the most recent state survey reports, which detail inspections and findings related to the facility's operations, care standards, and any violations or deficiencies. Compliance History: By examining the facility’s history of compliance with state standards, CarePatrol can identify patterns or recurring issues that may raise concerns. Quality of Care Indicators: They look at factors such as staffing levels, resident satisfaction, and incident reports to assess the overall quality of care provided. Transparency and Communication: CarePatrol shares these findings with families, helping them make informed decisions about placement based on a facility’s track record. By thoroughly vetting facilities through these methods, CarePatrol of CarePatrol aims to ensure that seniors are placed in environments where they can feel safe and supported. We provide this service at no COST! #CarePatrolGastoniaAsheville #frombeginning2infinitywithcare 828-222-3554 Give us a call and let us serve you and your loved ones
