Muuga Harbor was honored to welcome the maiden call of the Eco Maestro, a container vessel powered by green methanol, sailing on the Green Finland X-Press (GFX) route from X-Press Feeders. 🌍 The GFX route represents a major advancement in green shipping, supporting the Port of Tallinn's climate neutrality goals. This is a significant step forward in promoting environmentally friendly maritime transport, crucial for reducing the carbon footprint and ensuring a cleaner Baltic Sea. ♻️ The Eco Maestro uses green methanol, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by up to 65% compared to conventional marine fuels. 🏢 This service not only enhances environmental sustainability but also brings new business opportunities to the logistics sector.
