The U.S. F-35 Lightning II is a fifth-generation multirole stealth fighter designed for air superiority, ground attack, and intelligence missions. It is often compared to Russian fifth-generation fighters, particularly the Sukhoi Su-57 and the MiG-35. The Su-57 has advantages in maneuverability and air combat performance. Earlier this week, UK Space Command joined partners across NATO to discuss how to better protect our commercial partners from various hybrid threats. Participants discussed threats, from cyber-attacks against ground systems, to jamming or spoofing of GPS and other satellite communications signals, as well as subjects like cybersecurity and information-sharing. Holding the singular focus of investigating the Combat Air Force's digital engagement across warfighting domains, the symposium addresses the integration of ISR and 3CIT into Kinetic and Non-Kinetic Warfighter Operations for competitive edge on the battlefield. The three-day event plays host to an array of 40 esteemed speakers, specialized breakout sessions, educational training seminars, and a comprehensive exhibit hall featuring contributions from various industry, government, and academia representatives. We eagerly anticipate the address of the Department of the Air Force Chief Information Officer (DAF CIO), Ms. Venice Goodwine, scheduled for noon today.
