If I told you could create a FAKE brand and rank for your target keyword. Would you believe me ? Well… That’s exactly what Zendesk did. They thought outside the box and created a Rock N Roll brand called “Zendesk Alternatives”. They used a exact match domain “ zendeskalternatives .com “. And ranked for their “brand name” → “Zendesk Alternatives” They put a “satire” YT video on the homepage. And redirected people back towards Zendesk to recuperate customers. From what I can see that page has been live for many years already. And has probably brought them the intended results. So not that I’de recommend to pursue that strategy, but it goes to show that being creative goes a long way ! And also … Exact match domains do and still work, heres the proof ! -- PS: Link in comments to the zendeskalternatives .com website 🔗👇
