Reminder!!! We're organizing a workshop on "LaTex: A tool for Scientific Writing" in hybrid mode, Feb 12-13, 2024. Interested Candidates can register using this link: https://lnkd.in/g_paPjE2 𝐋𝐚𝐓𝐞𝐗: A powerful tool for crafting scientific articles, LaTeX combines abundant templates with efficient coding. Notably, it offers a dedicated platform for creating technical presentations using ‘Beamer’. Whether you’re a research scholar, industry researcher, college enthusiast, or faculty member, LaTeX streamlines your journey by organizing thoughts and representing ideas effectively. 📝🔬🎨 Certainly! LaTeX offers a plethora of features that make it a go-to choice for scientific and technical writing: 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐲𝐩𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: LaTeX excels at rendering complex mathematical equations and symbols. It provides an elegant and consistent way to express mathematical concepts, making it indispensable for researchers and academics. 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬-𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: With LaTeX, you can easily create cross-references to sections, figures, tables, and equations. Additionally, managing citations and bibliographies is seamless using tools like BibTeX or BibLaTeX. 𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: LaTeX allows fine-grained control over document formatting. You can customize fonts, margins, headers, footers, and other stylistic elements to match your preferences or specific journal requirements. 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬: LaTeX templates are widely available for various document types (research papers, theses, presentations, posters, etc.). These templates save time and ensure consistency in formatting. 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥: LaTeX integrates well with version control systems like Git. Collaborating on a document becomes easier, especially when multiple authors are involved. 𝐓𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬: LaTeX provides robust support for creating tables, figures, and captions. You can create professional-looking tables with ease. 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: LaTeX automatically generates section numbers, figure labels, and a table of contents. This feature simplifies document organization. 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: LaTeX’s extensive package ecosystem allows you to add functionality for specific tasks. For instance, the beamer package enables creating impressive slide presentations. 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭: LaTeX supports Unicode characters, making it suitable for multilingual documents. 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐲𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: LaTeX has an extensive library of mathematical symbols, making it indispensable for scientific writing. Well done
Yesterday, I presented my poster at the 50th ISCoC - International School of Crystallography in Erice (Trapani, Italy). I had the pleasure of explaining one of my last project regarding the discovery of a three-component cocrystal with anthelmintic properties. Exchanging ideas and learning about crystallographic aspects was of paramount importance. Thanks to my supervisors Beatrice Perissutti and Dritan Hasa for their valuable support and to all the other coauthors for their contribution!

Announcing a new Taos Institute workshop! Whether it’s conflict between nations, within families, between partners, or with colleagues, it is challenging to find ways to move beyond conflict towards greater understanding and an appreciation of difference. However, it is not impossible, and hope can be found even amid the deepest of divides. How do we hold on to our beliefs while making room for other perspectives? As the political and social aspects of the world in which we live become more polarized, how do we learn to tolerate difference and listen to viewpoints that differ dramatically from our own? How do we work together and learn to value difference? This online workshop features relational alternatives to more traditional approaches to conflict resolution. Participants will explore a unique approach to engaging with conflict that encourages the development of relational resilience in participants by helping them learn to think critically and creatively, and to appreciate the value of difference. We will engage in interactive experiences that incorporate the utilization of art and reflecting dialogue to illustrate how the two can work together to shift from conflict to curiosity and generate constructive understandings of difference. Consider joining us May 31-June 1, 2024. https://lnkd.in/eMyd_2Rr #socialconstruction #relationalpractices #relationalresilience

Experienced IT Sales Executive | Leading Observability, Digital Transformation & Cybersecurity Initiatives for Success
It seems that the meeting with students of the Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny w Katowicach #ScientificClub will result in a series of professional internships in IT sector companies. There is a lot of talks about building relationships between universities and companies and ensuring that education is tailored to market needs. Perhaps we are starting one of such initiatives.
Experienced IT Sales Executive | Leading Observability, Digital Transformation & Cybersecurity Initiatives for Success
Today I had the pleasure of meeting members of the "Marketing and Trade" Scientific Club of the Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny w Katowicach. I was invited as a practitioner to a meeting with students who will soon enter the job market. It was an inspiring meeting in which practitioners can share their experience and at the same time understand the dilemmas of future participants of the labor market. Thanks to Justyna Krawczyk, Łukasz Pietraszek and prof. Marcin Kumor for the invitation and all participants for lots of good questions!
