This is amazing technology. With the folding wings, it means it can have a vertical take off, without the need for a landing stripe. As I look towards 2024 and the future of the aviation industry, I have 4 ideas of what we can expect to see: 1. Sustainability Takes Center Stage: Environmental concerns will increasingly drive industry decisions. Expect to see airlines invest more in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), energy-efficient aircraft, and ways to reduce carbon footprints. Electric and hybrid propulsion technology may see significant advances, leading to test flights and certifications. 2. The Digital Passenger Experience Evolves: The passenger experience will continue to be enhanced by digital technologies. From biometric boarding to contactless interactions, AI-powered personalized services, and seamless connectivity, tech will make flying more convenient, enjoyable, and safe. Airlines that prioritize customer experience through technology will likely lead the market. 3. AI and Machine Learning Optimization: Operational efficiency will be a significant focus. Airlines and airports will further integrate AI and machine learning to optimize everything from fuel consumption and route planning to maintenance and crew scheduling. Data analytics will also enhance real-time decision-making, minimizing delays and improving turnaround times. 4.
