We are delighted to share the renewal of our supply contracts with Air Liquide to bolster our industrial partnership. Air Liquide will invest approximately 100 million euros to enhance our capabilities in Bulgaria and Germany, reinforcing our commitment to sustainable industrial development in Europe. 🇧🇬 At Aurubis Bulgaria, a state-of-the-art Air Separation Unit (ASU) will replace older facilities, boosting the production of oxygen, nitrogen, and argon essential for our operations. ⚡Scheduled for completion in 2027, this new ASU is designed to reduce electricity consumption by 7% and will partly operate on renewable energy, potentially saving up to 100 kt CO₂ annually. 🇩🇪 In Germany, Air Liquide will modernize the four existing ASUs at Aurubis sites by 2027. These units are crucial for supplying industrial gases to Aurubis' copper production and supporting regional markets.
