But amidst the competition, there's something truly remarkable that often goes unnoticed – the power of sports to unite. On the field, we often witness clashes, differences of opinion, and heated moments among players during their games. But what truly captivates us are the extraordinary moments when these individuals come together, extending handshakes and sharing smiles. Now, some may argue that these gestures are merely for the media and public to speak out positively. But I beg to differ. It takes real courage to set aside differences, step onto the field, and genuinely connect with those you once clashed with. It takes courage to put on a smile and to extend a hand of friendship. Woohoo! Australian Open week, so I just have to share this photo again of me playing at Melbourne Park a number of years ago as part of the Corporate Games. Tennis players need to respond to change instantly during a match, predicting the direction of a 200km/h ball. They must be mentally and physically prepared to handle the immense pressure and adapt to change. Without this agility, they would not survive long in the game. Being mentally and physically ready is the strong foundation / stable platform that tennis players must have. In the corporate world, a strong foundation for teams to become agile can be a range of things - the right skills, mindset, technical platform! I love the Olympics because they open our views to new cultures, countries, and sports. Paris 2024 promises to be a celebration of sport, culture, and history. But the Olympics are more than just sports; they're a massive organizational effort. Let's appreciate the teamwork and logistics that make it all possible! For those of you who have organized large-scale events, what's one key lesson you've learned that could apply to the Olympics?

This week the Paralympics concluded and Paris2024 is officially wrapped. What an amazing experience to be on the ground in Paris, but it felt like the "BIG VIBES EVERYWHERE" that was our family's coined theme of the summer went much further than inside stadiums and Olympic villages.. As I finally try to move on, I am immensely curious HOW it all happened??? From the ATHLETE STORYTELLING that broke through around athletes supporting other sport athletes, to celebrity appearances and support everywhere, to the not-so-sure about it but then very-sure Snoop ambassador of peace and support. BUT HOW? Who enabled the genius and the planets to align? NBC Olympics? Media agencies? Athlete PR firms? Olympic organizers? Would love my network's expert take on WHO enabled the genius and collective narrative that captured the world- our hearts & minds, and our screens & social feeds.
