Wow what a beautiful spirit of being in the same competitive domain and supporting each other. World would be a better place if all competitors support each other this way. A lesson learned today.
After reading abt the 100K signup of GXB, I felt a strong urge to support the Singapore Grab Digital Bank as I really looked forward to the "No Queue, No Branches, No Hassle" concept. Moreover, do everything thru mobile with the backup of 24/7 HUMAN Cust Support is something anyone would appreciated when help is needed. I tried to signup during the holiday break, but there's no more slot. I actually called (and it was about 11pm). I got thru the help line very quickly, and their helpline staff clarified a few questions as well as explained I could register on the waiting list. Good for Grab as I am sure most of us had bad experiences been on hold for a long duration or get stuck with a bot that leads no where. Anyway, I do look forward to signup with GXS even though I am probably not one of GXS target age group. I do hope in the near future Grab could leverage on the success of your SuperApp & scaling experience and build up a successful gamechanging Asean Fintech. There's hugh opportunites and population waiting for you ! ( 😄 BTW KPIs from my family => Dad: I am impressed with SoFi, Mom: enjoyed her local bank that offer upto 7% tier interest, Bum: loved the saving & flexibility of using YouTrip )

GX Bank Berhad, led by #Grab, has received approval from the Minister of Finance and Bank Negara Malaysia to commence operations ahead of the April 2024 deadline.
The digital bank aims to use technology and innovation to serve the unserved and underserved, including micro and small-medium enterprises. Operations are set to begin on September 1, 2023.
With over 95% Malaysian employees, #GXBank is dedicated to addressing the financial struggles of Malaysians and businesses. The bank plans to provide services through a mobile app and 24/7 customer support.
The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted household incomes in Malaysia, and GX Bank intends to empower local communities and businesses for financial resilience.
