I'd like to offer a reframe before you make any New Year's resolutions: You're already great. Any resolution or goal you make should honor what the person you've grown to be, and to take some steps forward to the person you want to become. I'd guess that the delta is smaller than you think. My goals for 2024 are focus and presence. I have one linchpin habit I'm focused on practicing to help me stay aligned with those words - the Forest App, which basically locks me out of my phone so I don't mindlessly scroll (I enabled the lock screen widget to enable it before I even open an app). I use it for focused work sessions, when I'm with my family, and when I don't want to get distracted from my book. How are you approaching goals/resolutions for 2024?

Don’t fall victim to impostor syndrome on this app. Lots of people telling on these platforms telling you how great their business is & how they’re absolutely killing it. Or how their way is the best and only way…. It can certainly make you feel inconsequential at times…. Focus on what you can control: your attitude and your effort. Stick to your business plan.
