As a leader I want to be the best I can be for my team. Always pushing to get better and grow myself and in turn make my team to be more effective and valuable to my company. I am studying the life of Major Dick Winters and his leadership in WWII. Below is a short clip from some of the men of Easy Company and how they viewed Major Winters. What would your team say about you as a leader? Are there some areas of your leadership you need to improve? I have areas I can improve. Nobody is perfect. https://lnkd.in/d53yWMGv

Leading by example is a leadership style where you model the behavior you want to see in your team members. When you lead by example, you don't just push team members towards excellence—rather, you actively demonstrate that excellence.

Very appreciative of the recognition of the Partner group and my teammates at Frederick Fox. When I joined Frederick Fox I was looking for something in a higher plane of alignment with my current life situation and vision for myself moving forward. I wanted to scratch my entrepreneurial itch, be a part of building something that I could potentially have true ownership in, and be able to live life on a day to day basis with a higher sense of freedom. I think it's a common evolution that I have gone through as a Recruiter. In fact, the owners of the agencies that have employed me in the past landed in the exact same mind frame which fueled the creation of their companies. Next month is my 10 year anniversary recruiting and when I reflect back the first thing that comes to mind is how challenging this business is. It is an art, it is a craft and it's never finished. By joining Frederick Fox I made the jump to being an independent recruiter last August. And now, I'm looking to help others who are like minded do the same. I am adding 4 recruiters to my team and the Frederick Fox community between now and December. We aren't trying to explode this business to 500 employees and a public offering. We are around a team of 40 and are looking to drive revenue through quality of delivery opposed to rapid expansion of headcount. We identify more with the Navy Seal model than the infantry. We provide the absolutely most competitive compensation structure in the business that leaves "the house" with very little profit in comparison to the traditional agency models. We are the closest thing to communism, as Will says. Here's a snapshot: If you're a $400K biller, you're going to bring $320K home to your family instead of $200K. There's a lot you can do with $120K extra $. But, it's not all about the money. It's about doing the business on your own terms. We don't count calls, or micromanage. That's a game for junior or underperforming recruiters. I am looking for someone specific: self motivated with a track record of billing close to $300K who wants to be coached like Michael Jordan instead of a rookie. We are hoping you can bill $200K+ in your first year, and if you hit $250K, you are coming along for the incentive trip. The team here is special. It's what I love most about being here. When you get a group of successful, like-minded, team-oriented entrepreneurs together working closely and communicating regularly, there's a magic that happens. We have leaders here staying on the cutting edge of AI, Automation & Recruiting technologies that could possibly transform your desks completely as it has mine. And, when these changes continue to alter the landscape of recruiting, I can guarantee we aren't one of the firms that will be left behind. We have people that have been there, done it, and can show you a roadmap to personal and professional freedom. Plug your nose and jump in the deep end with us. Reach out to me!
We are proud to announce the promotion of Nick Mathews to Senior Director. Nick joined us late last year and immediately stepped into production. His positivity and consistency over time have served him very well, and he currently resides at the top end of the leaderboard as a result. He is one of the few people in our system who has billed every month since his first deal, and the ranges that he is billing in are climbing steadily. He is a great comrade to work with, and his willingness to help others on the team is helping further our purposes as well as others and his own. At Frederick Fox, we like to see people lead first in the trenches before leading others. Our philosophy is that you have to stabilize yourself first before you are in a position to help others stabilize and win. Nick has proven himself in the trenches and is ready to be more than an individual contributor and help others succeed now in the FF model. We couldn't be happier to offer him this leadership position. Congratulations Nick Mathews! Nick Mathews Frederick Fox Rob Thomas We look forward to watching you and those under your leadership.

Being a leader is like being a king – it requires working with people who are crucial for the kingdom's success, not just with those you personally like. In any leadership role, not everyone in your "court" will be a friend, and some may not even support you personally. But your duty is to collaborate with them, because they hold vital roles in the kingdom’s success, regardless of personal feelings. True leadership means fostering loyalty to the kingdom – the mission, the vision, the team – and not to the leader themselves. After all, a strong kingdom is built on shared goals, not just personal bonds.
