Aviation insurance claims handlers in the London company market are supported by two IUA committees. We run both a senior Aviation Claims Committee (ACC), plus an additional group for less experienced practitioners. This month Bill Green from Generali, Chair of the ACC, joined the regular meeting of the IUA's Junior Aviation Claims Group . He discussed the role of the senior committee, his experience as a claims handler and how the IUA can support new and upcoming practitioners in the market. Tom Hughes is secretary to the IUA's aviation insurance committees, covering both claims and underwriting.
