BDO’s global Real Estate & Construction industry group undertook a survey in 2021 on initiatives and strategies connected with the return to the office post-pandemic. It revealed that the changes in how we work have lasting impact. In the spring of 2024 we conducted a follow-up survey of 164 BDO firms worldwide. The results of this survey illustrate how BDO firms have navigated from this generational event into a new working culture, through effort and innovation and a range of great initiatives that have been launched across our global organisation. Through this new BDO survey, we can see how the lessons of the last couple of years demonstrate that leaders and their teams must keep developing adaptable work strategies and initiatives. AGC of America held its first-ever National Construction Industry HR & Workforce Conference in November 2023.
