https://lnkd.in/dz8QUumm . 8 years old but we all need a refresher sometimesš. Mutual #trust & #transparency (& #respect ) are essential for a good employee/employer relationshipā . For any relationshipābecause life is all about relationships with one anotherš. āRelationshipāā> āRelateā. Google āRelateā. Also, Google: āRelativeāš. Without these, there is no business. There is no #community. You canāt take the āpersonā out of businessā because you are dealing with a person. A #human . Thusly, a huge indicator of company success is #emotionalIntelligence (EQ). So in this way, no matter where you are in the corporate ladder, we all have this (& SOMETHING) in common lol. Iāve been observing/studying human behavior for many years now. Itās incredibly interesting to converse and & write about. #dataAnalysis is what I do everyday as a #scientistšØš¾š¬. #Observe an issue/problem, make a #hypothesis , get data, make a conclusion (& sometimes, receive backlash šš¤·š¾āļølol). The data is the data so I know backlash will subside over time with #patience lol. Emotions donāt rule over facts. Things are what they arešÆ. We need to always look at the #reality of the data to be #correct & solve problemsā š. āThe 1st step dissolving a problem is admitting there is oneāā šÆ Iāve already posted multiple times about my hypothesis that people have forgotten social skills because of the effects of the brain during COVID. You probably wonāt really have much data on this until another 3 to 5 years but itās important to keep in mind. Isolation breaks peopleāthis is common knowledge. Itās why āsolitary confinementā is one of the most traumatic experiences that a human can experience. Go ahead: watch a YouTube video on solitary confinement and how it affects the psyche. Spend time alone on Marsā¦ This is why #community is so important for all of us, rather than being #cliquish . One of my best friends always says when we talk that: āCommunity includes āunityā āšā . I inquire with people on the daily basis about work environments/life (from CEOs, employers & employees) & from what I see here on LinkedIn since a little before the pandemic, we need to improve this specific type of relationship if we are to get things donešÆ. Trust. Transparency. Respect. Letās all google those definitions today. No letās reallyādo itšā . No need to have perfection, we are all a work in progress but we all know what we all can do better. Everyone already talks about itāso itās no secret. Thatās #transparency š. Treat your employees/employer just as good as you would treat your #client. No one can expect what they cannot givešÆ. All of us have #family and #communities that we are a part of, that treat us as such. Everyone mattersš. If someone doesnāt agree with this statement, then itās probably because they feel they donāt matter. And thatās one of the reasons why I wrote this post. Letās improve #morale šŖš¾. #backToTheBasics
