Another ✅ to another thing. Im more than happy to express my gratitude for this month-long externship journey that i had with Beats by Dre for Consumer Insights and Market Intelligence thanks to the contributions of the Extern team. Through this time being involved in duties such as: - Using in-depth concepts of branding and marketing to enhance the synergy between Beats by Dr. Dre's vision, mission, and brand philosophy. - Researching and identifying macro consumer trends among Gen-Z. - Conducting a brand and communication sentiment analysis. - Analyzing Beats's brand positioning and comparing it to competitors and finally... - Creating and delivering a compelling presentation compelling insights on how Beats can connect meaningfully with Gen-Z. made me one step closer to achieve the end-goal of my professional aspect. Last but not least i would like to show my appreciation for Michael Guerrero and his team for all the effort, time and attention that they have been putting to us individually throughout this time!

I am very grateful for the opportunity I had this last summer to intern for Big Red Jelly. A want to dedicate a special shoutout to my mentors Christina Romano and Josh Webber. I had so many opportunities to learn from them, especially how to refine my marketing skills. One of my favorite projects I worked on this summer is blog called: 3 Types of Social Media Content Every Business Should Be Posting If you are looking for new ways to inspire and create your social media strategy, check out this blog! https://lnkd.in/g_HrmTAi

Hi I just rolled out of bed and here's my random Thursday morning marketing campaign for KatieTempleton, the Social Media Manager at Waffle House, Inc. If you're Katie, just do it. Don't run it by legal like a snitch. 1. Rent/Buy and RV for the rest of summer. (Make sure you can cook in it.) 2. Send 3 interns on a cross country trip with a internet hotspot. 3. Have one intern walk up to people in public. They'll ask "Have you had Waffle House before?" If the person says no, hand them an menu. Then have the 2nd intern dressed as a WH worker show up with a pen and ask what they'd like. Have the third person cook the food. 4. If they stranger says yes, they've had WH before, ask them what their favorite item is and still cook it. Film it all. Make reels/tiktoks/whatever. Absolutely include a few videos where you're fighting people (Sorry, you gotta live up to brand people have of you, not what you have in your mind.) And post at least 4 times a week minimum as to not overwork the interns to death. That's all.

We asked our Gen Z intern to ask The UPS Store's Gen Z intern to come up with new content ideas. (Just kidding.) But really, who says a brand known for packing and shipping can't have fun on social? Thanks to our Creative and Cultural Opportunities for Real-time Engagement teams, we find opportunities for our brands to own buzzy trends in authentic ways — and ultimately, engage with audiences to build belief where and when it matters most. #advertisingandmarketing #socialmediamarketing #tiktoktrends #creativeagencies

This week I worked 3 hours at my Internship At the start of the week I was taught about the bean roasting process. This is where I learned how to start up the custom built roasting machine and set the profile for the flavor of chocolate selected. Once I had distributed 12 Kg of beans into 2 buckets I set the roaster profile with Mr. Picton and waited for it to warm up to the right temperature. As it was warming the tour for the day came in so I began working on packaging milk chocolate eggs. While everyone else was busy a customer came inside looking to purchase from Maverick from the first time. This was my first time helping a customer at my internship so I was focused on figuring out what he was looking for. He said that he was buying chocolate for his wife and mentioned a taste for dark chocolate and coffee. After a short discussion of the selection I sold a Ruya bar, a 75% Vietnam bar, a 80% Tanzania bar, as well as a mini milk. After this I had returned to the milk chocolate eggs and finished packaging the rest we had. To finish up the day I crushed 2 blocks of dark chocolate to melt it in the Selmi machine. This process was fun and new as I was able to work directly with the chocolate. The next day I worked this week I started by working on the packaging for the white chocolate bars that had been put into their slips. After some time working on this I had the opportunity to get an overview of some of Mavericks digital marketing strategies as well as recent marketing campaigns. There I was introduced to marketing software as well as its capabilities in regards to drawing in customers. What this week taught me is that marketing is not simply selling a product but it is the way of bringing attention to a product or brand and highlighting what it will give you. This relates to our study of digital marketing strategies and how brands can connect their products to various demographics of customers. #TheBusinessLaunchExperience @TheLaunchBusinessExperience

🌟 Trailblazer Spotlight: Michael Bartley Practice Director at Brands2Life 🌟 Ever thought about switching careers but worried you might be too late? Let Michael Bartley's story inspire you. After a solid 11-year stint in asset management, at 33, Michael decided it was time for a change. He jumped into the world of public relations with zero background in the field—talk about a bold move! 👏🏾 "I was keen to pursue a career in a field I felt passionate about, Public Relations. As you can imagine, it was a difficult industry to get into for a 33-year-old with no previous, relevant experience. After six months I finally got an opportunity at a boutique agency in Fulham – it was effectively an intern position, but I was fuelled by will, determination and an indomitable spirit to succeed." Now, a decade later, Michael isn't just making it; he's making waves as a Practice Director at Brands2Life, leading in the tech and digital space. 🌟 🔗 Curious about how he did it? Check out the link below for the full scoop on Michael’s journey from financial services to frontlines of PR. His path proves it's never too late to chase what you love. https://lnkd.in/gqsDtkiU

Customer Marketing Manager | Lifecycle Marketing Manager | Retention Marketing Manager | Marketing Consultant
I don't think I've ever shared an photo on LinkedIn but I recognize as a marketer that that's kind of wild. I gave a presentation today on email and content marketing best practices where I reminded my audience that people love images of other people. I guess I should walk the talk, huh? So, given that there are a lot of new folks around here, I thought I'd share one of my favorite work related acquisitions: my dog, Henry! I adopted him while in Arizona almost 10 (!!) years ago working at PetSmart's corporate headquarters. I was completing a buying internship. I liked PetSmart's culture, but did not enjoy buying. It was *not* for me. Also, Phoenix in the summer is not my favorite. Cue the comments about "but its a dry heat!" Another hot (hehe) fact: Henry was featured in PetSmart's holiday video that year. So he's famous. NBD. Anyways, that experience is actually part of why I went to grad school immediately after undergrad instead of entering the workforce. I thought I wanted to work corporate retail, in buying. I couldn't have been more wrong. My talents are best used in other ways (see: customer or lifecycle marketing, freelancing in content, email, and overall marketing strategy, guiding people towards mental health resources, eating shrimp indiscriminately...) Anyways this picture is a couple years old but here's me and Henry Roger. I adore him and I love this picture because I think it shows the feeling is mutual. #doggo #petsmart #adoptdontshop #marketing #content #contentmarketing #customermarketing #emailmarketing #shrimp #mentalhealth #freelancing
