Talking compliance on the 17th July. I'll be thinking about .. "is the route to appropriate smooth", "what is best practice", "what do *suppliers* need to demonstrate in terms of capability", "how do global corporate functions keep on compliance policy track" "where are we now on the path" "what is the path ...". (and other stuff .... ). I might also be persuaded to talk about the compliance for meetings and events bot that is in early testing at the moment !! #ComplianceGeekSquad

Five months to FNCE! The Ketchum RDs developed a planning guide to support our clients in navigating the biggest nutrition conference of the year, complete with an overview of the conference ecosystem, a comprehensive look at sponsorship opportunities, measurement considerations, and key insights from attendees, including: Self-Care is a Priority RDs are cognizant of FNCE burn out. Nearly 50% of survey respondents said they will be limiting the number of events they attend and the same percentage noted they will carve out time for RD friends outside of scheduled events as a form of self-care. Brands who host events should consider that 30% of respondents said they will practice self-care by leaving events early to get to bed at a reasonable hour and 20% said they will miss morning events to avoid early wake ups. As event invitations start hitting inboxes, RDs will evaluate what is worth their time and attention as they seek to avoid leaving “FNCE fried.” If you’re planning for FNCE and would like to receive our guide, send me a message!

🎤 Don’t just take our word for it… 🎤 👂 At the #COGSeries meetings, we’ve always got an ear out for Partner feedback, and you can read more of that on our new website section (link in the comments). 🍬 Here’s a taster of some of the most recent: “The COG conferences were the best events we attended last year. The size of the event leads to great networking opportunities and we saw immediate financial gains following our attendance. It is for these reasons we will be returning.” - RBW Consulting “One of the best run and organised events we have been to in a long time, the organisers’ marketing on Sponsor to Vendor ratio did not disappoint, and the venue they chose was excellent” - Delve Health "The COG series of events has given Harbor Clinical the right-sized venue to showcase our service offerings to decision makers in the local and national biotech/pharma market. The agenda, venue, and participants allow us to meet the right people without getting lost in the crowd." 🔗 Check out the link in the comments for more great feedback, and reach out now to find out how you can get what your competitors are getting… #clinicaltrials #clinicalresearch

Reflecting on the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association Diversity in Clinical Trials event earlier this week, it was inspiring to be amongst people who share the same urgency for progress. While progress can feel slow, there was also recognition from the group of just how much positive change has been made so far and this is worth celebrating! Here are some key points that caught my attention: 🔶 The HRA is creating guidelines with four key diversity questions for sponsors in their approval process. Keep an eye out for the consultation on these guidelines later this year. 🔶 Many people struggle to access basic healthcare, let alone clinical trials. 🔶 Study teams need more support and a safe space to talk about the challenges of recruiting diverse participants. 🔶 It's essential to involve community voices in shaping study protocols – involving patients from the start is crucial. 🔶 How do we measure diversity? We need to consider groups outside of the traditional focus areas. 🔶 Technology can help with recruitment, but it's not the only solution. 🔶 Designing studies with diversity in mind is crucial. The message from the panel is clear: diversity should be a priority from the start of study planning! Thank you to all the panel speakers! Naho Yamazaki, Suki Balendra PhD, Jane Bentley, James Buckley MPH, Eleanor McLaurin and Fiona Maini #ClinicalTrials #Diversity #Healthcare #LifeSciences
