This is so important! I recently trained an SSP and they openly spoke about not knowing how to engage or address people using meth. Unfortunately, this is a common occurrence because the focus has been on opioids, crack, and cocaine for decades. Add in the lack of LGBTQIA+ competency, and you have an extra layer of complexity. We had a great discussion that encompassed a lot of what’s mentioned here in this article about prevention, management, and how to engage their medical providers to offer effective treatment. #harmreduction
