What do most people do when they feel fear? Avoid the thing triggering the fear! Here we find a recipe for disaster for millions of people’s sexual health; so let’s dispel some myths with facts: - HIV is NOT a death sentence - Acquiring HIV does NOT mean you’ll progress to AIDS - HIV is NOT a “gay man’s disease” - You CANNOT get HIV by being around someone living with HIV - Today’s HIV treatments DO work 🌱No matter your sexual orientation or preference, if you’re sexually active, you should be having regular STI screenings which include testing for HIV. 🌱And now that we’ve got all that “fake news” out of the way - you can proceed to testing with confidence!
