I don't know, what i don't know... For as long as I can remember, I used to go to bed and wake up tired... everyday. Surprising to me, I could never figure it out. It wasn't until I started measuring my own personal data. This ring is but one example of many sleep trackers that helped me realize how little I knew about my sleep habits. For the last several years, it's been all about data. I now know how much deep, REM or light sleep I get. Optimal time to go to bed and what and when to eat. I value my sleep like I've never done before and I owe this clarity to the personal enlightenment of data from a wearable. I have no conflict of interest with this company and as mentioned, it's one of many wearables out there that monitors sleep. Data has changed my perspective. In this noisy world, changing behaviour is a very hard thing to do. Being knowledgeable and leaning on metrics has helped me both personally and professionally. For all my physician (and non-physician) colleagues suffering from lack of sleep, you owe it to yourself to track your data. It's one way to put your oxygen mask on first before helping others.
