I am heartened by the strides we've made in prioritizing cultural safety within programs and services. Our commitment to inclusivity has not only diversified our approach but has also paved the way for enhanced accessibility for underserved areas and underserved populations. However, the journey is far from over, and as we stand on the cusp of 2024, I am filled with a renewed sense of purpose and energy. It's crucial to acknowledge the great work accomplished thus far, but it's equally important to recognize the challenges that persist. There is much work to be done, and I am committed to collaborating on a mission that aligns with our shared vision and values. In the coming year, let's build on our successes, learning from our experiences, and leverage our collective wisdom to start addressing the gaps that still exist. Reflecting on the paths we tread, it’s the people and their missions that weave some of the richest tales. Ala Steven Zinsli from HealthNow for instance. A powerful goal and you could tell instantly his drive and desire to achieve this. One of his ‘why’s. Two years down the track, and the growth of both Steven and HealthNow has been a thing of real substance and inspiration. HealthNow isn't just a tool; it's a bridge between employers and employees, a means to carry health benefits across gaps that were once considered too wide to cross. I’ve seen the grit behind Steven’s smile, the resolve behind his words. HealthNow stands as a testament to what can be achieved with a blend of focus, customer obsession and innovation.
