With the start of the Health Outcome Survey (HOS) less than a month away, time is of the essence to accelerate performance for the new triple-weighted measures. Aggregating and analyzing member health statuses in one place through Pulse Surveys enables plans to rapidly address member-level challenges and safeguard Star Ratings performance. 🏥 Over 130,000 People to Benefit from Life-Saving Health Checks 🏥 The UK government is taking a major step forward in preventive healthcare by offering over 130,000 individuals access to life-saving health checks. This initiative targets those most at risk of heart disease, stroke, and type 2 diabetes, aiming to catch these conditions early and improve health outcomes. But what makes this initiative particularly powerful is the role of health data. 📊 By leveraging data, healthcare providers can identify those most at risk and tailor interventions to individual needs. This data-driven approach not only enhances the effectiveness of these health checks but also helps to allocate resources more efficiently, ensuring that those who need it most receive timely care. 🔍 Why This Matters: 1. Early Detection: Identifying health issues before they become critical can save lives. 2. Personalized Care: Data allows for more accurate risk assessments and personalized health advice. 3. Better Outcomes: With targeted interventions, we can significantly reduce the incidence of heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. This initiative is a prime example of how data and healthcare innovation can work hand in hand to improve public health. #Healthcare #PublicHealth #HealthData #PreventiveCare #UKGovernment https://lnkd.in/ggCk5Ra8

Our Whole Health Index consists of 93 measures representing physical, behavioral, and social factors that together produce a score quantifying each consumer's whole health. It’s just one of the ways we’re collaborating with care providers and driving real improvements. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/eucb79zK Bryony Winn, Shantanu Agrawal, Marcus Wilson, Qi Zhou

The concept of Public Health 3.0 has been around a while and yet we still haven't adequately implemented the data aspect of this concept in a way that could save lives from overdoses. "4. Timely, reliable, granular-level (i.e., subcounty), and actionable data should be made accessible to communities throughout the country, and clear metrics to document success in public health practice should be developed to guide, focus, and assess the impact of prevention initiatives, including those targeting the social determinants of health and enhancing equity." https://lnkd.in/g6Gd46UQ

Until the U.S. gets its act together to improve our health system, we the people need to take control of our health. Our system is focused on sick care, and it's not even doing a very good job of that. Learn how to engage in "self well care." That means do your research, eat healthy foods (sugar, sodium, and words on labels you can't pronounce are not your friends), move more, and reduce stress. Makes the case to live in another country when you retire - you'll probably live longer! "The U.S.'s bottom ranking for health outcomes is driven by poor performance in four of five outcome measures. Life expectancy is more than four years under the 10-country average, and the U.S. leads in preventable and treatable deaths across all ages, as well as excess deaths from the pandemic for those under 75." #healthcare #wellcare #chronicconditions

If you believe it is important for our government to retain sovereignty over the UKs health decisions please take the time to sign and share this. The WHO wants to bring in rules whereby our governments across the world no longer have a say in how various health matters are dealt with, including lockdowns and mandatory jabs. And look where those got us in the last four years. I know (ie a direct contact, not so and so’s aunty etc) more people injured/dead from the jabs than Covid. In fact I know no one dead or injured or even hospitalised by Covid. Think about it.
