Let me share a little secret with you!!! 🫢 When a new member walks through our doors at the office, I make it my mission to ensure they feel right at home. Andddddd, you see, starting a new job can be nerve-wracking, so I believe in setting the right tone from the very beginning for anyone & everyone who joins me…. Instead of bombarding 😵💫 them with a barrage of questions and tasks, ‼️ I take a more relaxed approach and…….. what’s that? they're usually eager to jump right into the work and start asking about deadlines and tasks. But I always tell them to slow down a bit and take the time to get to know everyone first. It's always me telling them, "Hey, don't rush! Take a breather, chat with your new colleagues, and get comfortable." Because, I genuinely feel that building good relationships with your team is just as important as meeting deadlines. Happy New Week Lovelies😊 In all you do this week make it a point of duty to maintain a cooperative environment. **Cooperative Environment: ** simply means creating a positive atmosphere where teamwork thrives. Some tips to help you foster a cooperative environment where ever you find yourself are as follows: **Encourage Open Communication**: Create channels (like regular meetings or a messaging platform) where everyone feels comfortable sharing ideas, concerns, and feedback. **Promote Team Building Activities**: Organize team-building exercises or social events outside of work to strengthen relationships and build trust among team members. **Recognize and Appreciate**: Acknowledge individual and team achievements openly. A simple thank-you or shout-out can go a long way in boosting morale. **Set Clear Goals and Roles**: Ensure everyone understands their role in the team and how their work contributes to the overall goals of the organization. **Lead by Example**: Demonstrate cooperative behavior yourself. Great achievements are rarely a solo act... ( Here's why I'm excited about next week ) We're kicking off a national contract on Monday - lots of sites, and with a short lead time. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽: → Daily mobilisation meetings - the 'who, what, where, when' → Meeting regularly with client - the 'how' → Triple Check System - The details that we check, cross-check, and check again. This isn't just preparation; it's a masterclass in precision and attention to detail. I should 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘺 be feeling nervous about go-live day. I don't. Because this is what we do for every new job start. It's just this time, we're doing it at scale. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗼 𝗶𝘁: → Standardised our systems - we can scale up or down depending on the contract size. → Empowered our teams - their autonomy allows for agility and adaptability. → Leverage technology - so we can ensure scalable and effective operations I'm in the cleaning industry, but these concepts would work with any industry. If you want to scale, this is how you do it.
