My Thoughts: Peaceful gatherings and demonstrations are the first amendment rights of everyone who's living in the United States, but there is a fine line between exercising your first amendment rights and (I'm trying to put it as lightly as I can) being a low-life scum. - Vandalizing national monuments and landmarks - Torching the United States flag. - Chanting extremist ideas and calling for ethnic cleansing of a minority. - Threatening other citizens and harassing minorities. - Disrupt others' rights to express themselves. If you do those, you are nothing but a low-life scum. Keep that in mind the next time you decide to do any of those things. The republic gives everybody the right to express themselves and voice out their concerns, but you have no right to abuse those rights to spread hate and two-bit extremist ideological crap. Some dare to burn the flag of the same republic that gives them the rights of humanity without even understanding what its colors mean. The same people who support the atrocities committed by a terrorist organization and waving the banner of another terrorist organization in the streets of the capital. God bless the United States for being the land of the free and giving you the rights to Express yourselves and God grants me strength to stand fast against you and the likes of you. Impending Prisoner Exchange: A Wake-Up Call for the West The impending prisoner exchange between Russia and the West, the largest since the Cold War, is more than just a symbolic gesture. It is a clear signal that Russia is engaged in a hybrid conflict with us. This exchange clearly shows that we are dealing with an adversary willing to assert its power position by any means necessary. From cyberattacks to disinformation campaigns to military actions – the range of methods employed is vast. It is time to acknowledge this reality and act accordingly. Our responses must be as multifaceted and determined as the challenges we face. Only through close cooperation, strategic planning, and decisive actions can we defend our values and interests. Even with this exchange, Russia achieves its goals, sometimes at high costs, but in the end, the gains matter most. Our world was created for harmony and #peace. What is the definition of “TERROR” The United Nations General Assembly condemned terrorist acts by using the following political description of terrorism in December 1994 (GA Res. 49/60): “Criminal acts intended or calculated to provoke a state of terror in the general public, a group of persons or particular persons for political purposes are in any circumstance unjustifiable, whatever the considerations of a political, philosophical, ideological, racial, ethnic, religious or any other nature that may be invoked to justify them.” Definitions include: "the deliberate killing of innocent people, at random, to spread fear through a whole population and force the hand of its political leaders" (Michael Walzer, 2002). "the organized use of violence to attack non-combatants (‘innocents’ in a special sense) or their property for political purposes" (C. A. J. Coady, 2004). "the deliberate use of violence, or threat of its use, against innocent people, with the aim of intimidating some other people into a course of action they otherwise would not take" (Igor Primoratz, 2004). "the use of force or violence or the threat of force or violence to change the behavior of society as a whole through the causation of fear and the targeting of specific parts of society in order to affect the entire society" (Arthur H. Garrison, 2004). "The premediated use or threat to use violence by individuals or subnational groups to obtain a political or social objective through the intimidation of a large audience beyond that of the immediate victims" (Todd Sandler, 2010). "a doctrine about the presumed effectiveness of a special form or tactic of fear-generating, coercive political violence... [as well as] a conspiratorial practice of calculated, demonstrative, direct violent action without legal or moral restraints, targeting mainly civilians and non-combatants, performed for its propagandistic and psychological effects on various audiences and conflict parties" (Schmid, 2011). Very legitimate question posed by Hannah Elka Meyers: "How are we, as a society, going to grapple with resurgent terrorism and open warfare in the Middle East if we can’t even show masked jackasses on the Brooklyn Bridge that they are out of line—not to mention that they are breaking the law?" "If the thousands of Gothamites who pretend to care about Arabs (except when other Muslims oppress and slaughter them) really wanted a ceasefire, they would demand that Hamas release innocent civilians and renounce terrorism. "But they don’t actually want a ceasefire. What they want is to be jackasses. The medical code of ethics in the Hamas war, soulld we we reference it or not? CAUSE NO HARM is considered, first and foremost, what a medical doctor's oath means. For the very least, as a professional medical doctor, her practice should CAUSE NO HARM! If a medical doctor breaks this oath, her license must be terminated. Defending Hamas and the Hamas medical doctors who were actively supporting the slaughter and were accomplices in the maltreatment of hostages put a spotlight on the ethical commitments and the integrity of George Washington University Medical School as professionals and their understanding of ethical conduct as professionals. If they deny the core requirements of the ethical discipline of their profession, they should be investigated by the ethical committee of the profession! Etymology: The binding ethical code of conduct of medical doctors is originated in Greece. In Greek ὠφελέειν ή μὴ βλάπτειν (translated into Latin “primum non nocere”) from the Hippocratic text on Epidemics (First book, second part, paragraph 5); "In illnesses one should keep two things in mind, to be useful rather than cause no harm". On April 19, 1995, Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols carried out the worst act of domestic terrorism in U.S. history, killing 168 people (19 of them children) and wounding hundreds more. When McVeigh carried out the bombing, he carried with him a copy of The Turner Diaries, and wore a T-shirt with the phrase "Sic semper tyrannis" on the front, and a Thomas Jefferson quote on the back: "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." Like domestic terrorists before them and many after, McVeigh and Nichols fantasized about sparking a new civil war, a second American Revolution. This was the first case to put sovereign citizens on my radar as a violent threat. The Turner Diaries, the book McVeigh carried, is the source for the phrase 'the day of the rope ' used by so many advocating for hanging politicians and journalists they dislike. Writings by William Potter Gale, founder of Posse Comitatus which is considered one of the foundations of sovereign citizen ideology, advocated hanging any sheriff considered to have violated his oath. At the same time, his writing is the source for much of modern 'constitutional sheriff ' rhetoric. It's oxymoronic, but the people subscribing to the stuff that motivated McVeigh don't grasp that. For his crime, McVeigh was executed in 2001. So it was no surprise that on #October11, and with a ground #war from the #IDF more than a month away, #AdamBandt offered no condemnation of #Hamas without condemning Israel in the same breath. In the House on #October16, #Bandt and his three #Greens colleagues voted against a motion to condemn #Hamas. Elizabeth Watson-Brown, Stephen Bates and Max Chandler-Mather joined Bandt sitting awkwardly on the opposition benches all alone. A week later, the #Greens denounced the #IDF ground invasion of #Gaza, which hadn’t then taken place." The #Greens are now in full view with any doubts about their #evil #ideology cast aside. This is a party driven by #criticaltheory. They split society into two. You’re either an #oppressor or you’re a victim. The lives and human rights of what they perceive as the oppressor class are non-existent. The only people who matter are the so-called #oppressed.
