PLEASE stop using the term "Gag Order". This is not a GAG Order in the correct legal sense of the term. A real gag order prohibits speech whether true or false or purely imaginary. For example, Gag Orders imposed by state statutes flatly prohibit ANY speech about a juvenile's criminal case. True gag orders revoke First Amendment Rights and do so deliberately and with good reason. These orders against the former President ---or anyone else--- do not revoke e any speech rights; they simply implement the limits of the First Amendment by preventing potential or actual defendants from corrupting the judicial process in ways which exceed Times v. Sullivan. Not even former Presidents are allowed to falsely and with actual malice shout fire in a Theater And that is what the former President is attempting to do.

Missouri Health Professionals and Higher Education Faculty, your action is needed. At 2pm today, the Missouri House General Laws Committee is trying to strip away the ability of public and private medical schools to fund DEI offices and hire DEI consultants. This bill states that it will not limit curriculum or guest speakers, but it does require all medical schools to submit course titles and syllabi for every mandatory course within their programs.
