And have you ever wondered how visuals can contribute to the overall experience when configuring a vehicle? 🚗   This is a question, our team at the Automotive Visualization Platform (short: AVP) at Audi Business Innovation GmbH asks themselves. 🤔 The AVP is a holistic visualization platform that enables automotive brands to create customer-centric experiences based on cutting-edge visualization technologies.   AUDI AG has recently launched the newly developed Next Generation Configurator on the Norwegian and Canadian market which contains our newest take on how Audi vehicles can be presented in the best way possible. This includes a whole new look and feel of the images.   The Next Generation Configurator not only provides a new luxurious environment but allows you to toggle between two different locations to get a better sense of what the car would look like in real life. With improved perspectives and increased image quality, the Configurator has been given a new appearance that increases the configuration experience for #Audi #customers. Today, I'm thrilled to shine a spotlight on the just-beginning CES 2024 in Las Vegas, where BMW is showing many of exciting digital tech themes for the year. As BMW takes center stage, expect an exciting journey into the future of automotive technology. CES 2024 showcases the seamless integration of cutting-edge technology with the sheer thrill of driving. The focal point is the in-car digital user experience, seamlessly bridging the gap between the present and the future. BMW Group presents new infotainment products for existing models while offering a glimpse into tomorrow's innovations. At the heart of this transformation is the BMW Operating System 9, bringing forth a slew of gaming experiences through the ConnectedDrive Store. The optional "BMW Digital Premium" takes it a step further, offering extended access to third-party apps. In the future, it will be possible to play casual games with suitable gaming controllers to enable an immersive gaming experience in the car. Video enthusiasts are in for a treat with the TiVo Video App in BMW Operating Systems 8.5 and 9, delivering a diverse range of content. The BMW Theatre Screen and DTS AutoStage Video Service powered by TiVo promise a cinematic experience on the go. BMW shows the XREAL Air 2 augmented reality glasses, offering an enhanced driving experience. Visitors get a taste of the future, witnessing how AR glasses seamlessly integrate navigation, entertainment, and information into the real-world environment. The BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant takes a giant leap forward. At CES, the BMW Group and Amazon showcase voice assistant LLM capabilities based on a current development project that the companies are working on in preparation for a potential series rollout. Generative AI powers this next-level assistant, providing human-like interactions and quick responses on vehicle features. Collaborating with Valeo, BMW explores the realm of automated Level 4 parking solutions, including teleoperated valet parking. This strategic partnership aims to redefine parking experiences, allowing vehicles to navigate and park autonomously or under the guidance of a teleoperator. Are we on the brink of a new era in automotive technology? BMW’s latest #AugmentedReality (AR) innovation certainly points to that possibility. I recently had the chance to experience their #AR glasses firsthand and I was truly impressed by the possibilities it unlocks. The glasses seamlessly integrate into the driving experience, providing drivers with a wealth of information without distracting them from the road. I was particularly impressed with the heads-up display that projected navigation instructions, traffic updates, and even warnings about potential hazards directly onto my windshield. I also enjoyed the passenger experience, which allowed me to watch movies, play games, and even browse the internet while my driver navigated. The AR glasses made the journey much more enjoyable and interactive. I believe that #AR technology has the potential to revolutionize the way we drive. It can make our journeys safer, more efficient, and more enjoyable. I’m excited to see how BMW Group continues to innovate in this space.
