This Award serves as a testament to our unwavering commitment to fostering a supportive environment for the growth and development of young people throughout the state. Looking for a way to share your time and talents while providing service to the field? This year, The Forum on Education Abroad is offering three ways to do so: ⭐ NEW! Communities of Practice: Groups that come together and engage in a structured process that enables participants to investigate, reflect and provide solutions for or about significant issues, questions, problems, or opportunities within a field or area of practice. ⭐ Working Groups: Project-based groups with finite start and end dates based around a particular project or deliverable. ⭐ Committees: Groups contributing to recurring Forum efforts on a cyclical basis. Join us on 5th November 2pm-4pm to discuss research findings on unequal place leadership in North East England. Who is leading the region? Who is shaping the future? Format: A brief key findings report will be made available to participants in advance. This will be introduced and discussed by a panel, including: - Jenny Hartley, Invest Newcastle & Newcastle City Council - Gill Hunter, Square One Law - Rachel Pain, Newcastle University - Cullagh Warnock, One Million Women and Girls Campaign Followed by an open discussion, before moving into small group discussions, facilitated by Audrey Macnaughton.
