Team HFCU was glowing at the the Boys and Girls Club of Rutland County's Annual Signature Event! This fundraiser supports their mission of providing kids safe places to play and learn, positive role models, and educational opportunities. And as a special bonus, we were able to hear about some of the accomplishments of the youth they support!

What a fantastic day we had at our Fall Community Conversations! HFCU hosted 27 nonprofit organizations yesterday at The Arlington Commons for Community Conversations, a free event to learn from experts in the field of strategic planning. Featuring a keynote from Sarah Henshaw and breakout sessions led by Matt Harrington throughout the morning and afternoon, it was a successful day of networking and knowledge sharing. #creditunions #nonprofits

Team HFCU was busy yesterday! In the morning, Tracy and Mark joined 500 other Vermont leaders at the 2024 Vermont Community Leadership Summit. Then the evening found our staff out and about supporting National Night Out in various locations. From corn hole to rock (and piggy bank!) painting, we had a great time meeting members of the community. ___________________ #creditunions #communitydevelopment

Last week, Sarah Furman and Christine Messer CPA, MBA, CUDE attended the Vermont State College System's breakfast discussion. The talk focused on the College System's transformation and gathered feedback from community leaders on the future of education and economic vitality in our region. We wouldn't be anything without our members. And so we're entering one of our favorite times of year: Member Appreciation Days! Now through August, we'll be out and about surprising members with treats. Tracy and Mark kicked things off at Roxie's Fries, a local snack shop (and business member!). They'll be buying an order of fries for any member who stops in - and have a little something for non-members, too.

Great group, great event! HFCU attended Vermont Conversations - The Business of Vermont last night. This panel discussion, hosted by Green Mountain Academy, featured experts in business, government, and the community to discuss the future of living and working in Vermont. As a Vermont-based credit union, we're invested in understanding how we can help support the future of our communities. Events like this give our team the chance to connect with other leaders to make that happen. Thank you team HFCU for attending last night's event! ___________________ #creditunions #communityimpact
