On this World Refugee Day, We must start viewing Refugees as assets and not burdens to the host countries Allow Refugees with programs to absorb them into the economy. Economic dividends witnessed in the west who have harnessed the power of refugees should be replicated everywhere. Refugees have skills from their home countries and deserve a level playing field to realize their full potential. Removing barriers to starting businesses for refugees is a great recipe for self sustainability and job creation(refugee entrepreneurs employ from host communities) #WorldRefugeeDay

We know that the attitudes often shared by politicians and the right wing media don't often reflect public opinions. This is why so much of our work at Imix is around reaching audiences with the right messages about migration. We take a data led yet humanising approach to changing the narrative with stories not numbers. #Refugees #Refugeeweek
Together with Ipsos, we asked 33,000+ people about their perceptions toward refugees. The findings show us the enduring public support for the right to seek safety and are a heartening sign of solidarity in our crisis-ridden world. 👉 https://bit.ly/3z312FQ #HopeAwayFromHome

Today is #WorldRefugeeDay. Our colleagues at CARE International UK have asked friends, colleagues, and refugees worldwide to answer the question: What does home mean to you? Check out the video below and find out about how CARE works with refugees: careint.uk/WRD24
What does #home mean to you? This World Refugee Day, we asked friends, colleagues, refugees and displaced people from around the world this question and received some powerful answers. Ones that resonated most were the importance of home in preserving memories, feeling safe and being close to loved ones. It’s an important reminder that the concept of ‘home’ looks very different around the world and changes are often not made by choice. Find out more about how CARE works with refugees: careint.uk/WRD24 #Home #WorldRefugeeDay #Refugee #RefugeeWeek #OurHome
