It turns out, around $75,000 a year (household). 2️⃣ Drive - What kind of hospital and lab do you see yourself in? I am drawn to places that don't believe in the word "impossible". 3️⃣ Heart - Spoiler alert: My heart is my deciding factor. "Home is where the heart is". 3 1/2 Powerful Reasons Why You Should Attend HighSight Chicago’s 2024 Gala, by Crystal Skipworth: 1) Every 👏🏻 single 👏🏻 one 👏🏻 of the HighSight scholars recieves a full-tuition college scholarship! 🤯 YES! This is already incredible, but check out their website and you’ll immediately understand why these are the most deserving students. 2) If you did, then you now grasp the insanely positive impact this education will have on their future, on their quality of life, and the lives of everyone they love. 💵💕 Don’t you want to witness that firsthand? Don’t get me wrong, I am often a couch potato with my husband Lucas, but this gala is a one-night-per-year chance to see the joy in their eyes as everyone celebrates these bright young stars. 🤩 3) Everyone benefits from a more educated community. Data proves a clear correlation between reduced crime rates and increased access to education- a quick Google search will pull up dozens of studies. 📉🏡 This is a night to go out, have fun, be inspired and support a cause that is actively creating opportunities where they don’t exist and directly changing human lives for the better. 1/2) If you are somehow unenrolled by a worthy cause, the presence of joy, AND the community benefits of attending this event, then you should know I will at least be entertaining. If you don’t know me, I have been described as very emotive and expressive. The happy tears are sure to be flowing, but I could be overwhelmed by all the power and love at this event and full-on ugly-cry in public… 🥹😭 but hey, if it gets you to attend, I’ll save you a tissue!
