Last evening on International Overdose Awareness Day, we honored the memory of those lives lost to overdose and supported the families who are left behind to grieve their loss. We helped raise awareness by offering resources to all who visited campus for our weekly Saturday night dinner. You Are Not Alone. If you or someone you know and love is struggling with addiction, help and support are available. 💜

The same mission unites us: to end the overdose crisis. In partnership with High Watch Media, Jeff Reilly and Greg Williams directed and produced the impactful documentary film Tipping the Pain Scale. One of the featured subjects of the #TippingThePainScale film is Roz Pichardo. Roz has personally reversed hundreds of overdoses in the Kensington area, Philadelphia, using Narcan. She has reached thousands of others by training people in the community on the need to carry Narcan and how to use it. On behalf of the over 100,000 people we lost in the last year to overdose, please commit with us to carry and learn how to use Narcan.
