You hate cold calling too? Most business owners would rather gouge their own eyeballs out. So we create your *UPSP & get it in front of prospects differently. Weird stuff, humour, handwritten, oddities. By mail or email.
The smell of the steel train tracks and the oak sleepers and the smell of the station. It was Brough station. I’d just been for my interview for my first job as an apprentice aircraft engineer. I knew I’d get the job because I knew more about aircraft than the interviewer did. I’d been flying model planes since I was five years old. The first year was great. Three months in the drawing office, couple of months on machine work, couple of months on some electrical & sheet metal work and then into the factory. Week one was good. We got to make a Harrier central fuselage. At the end of that week I said ‘what do we do next week?’ The guy I was working with said “we do the same again.” About halfway through that second week I thought f**k that and I went off to the office and said I want to be moved and then got moved onto the Phantom reconnaissance pod for a week. Then I got moved on again because I complained. I went on to make a hatch for the Harrier. I I got paid extra for that couple of weeks ‘cos there was a bonus scheme. I later I realised this wasn’t the job for me so I left. I had 20 odd jobs in the next two years and 40 years later I realised I had ADHD. Sales was the only job I was cut out for. I bet there are loads on here just like me? P.S. Don’t follow me. Your head might explode. #prospecting #sales #marketing.
