Scripps Research scientists have developed an AI tool that simplifies heart monitoring, allowing cardiologists to diagnose heart attacks with fewer leads and the same accuracy. In a study published in Nature Portfolio's npj Digital Medicine, scientists Evan David Muse, MD PhD and Giorgio Quer , PhD, reveal that their AI algorithm can recreate full 12-lead ECGs using data from just three ECG leads. Clinicians can identify heart attacks with nearly the same accuracy as traditional 12-lead ECGs. More: https://ow.ly/9VgU50SPF1x
