Director - Vedanta Limited | Founder - YODA & TACO Animal Welfare Organisation I Chairperson - Hindustan Zinc
As we enter a new financial year, it is time to reflect on the accomplishments of FY 24 and create a robust roadmap for the coming year to ensure that we deliver maximum value to all our stakeholders. As Hindustan Zinc enters a new era of growth, silver will become a key focus area for us. Vital for global energy transition - silver production needs to be augmented. This year, Hindustan Zinc has achieved record silver production of 746 MT, and we hope we can continue this trajectory of growth. Our Fumer plant in Chanderiya – which is India’s first – is helping us convert jarosite to clean slag, enabling waste recycling and additional production of silver – paving the way for #aatmanirbharbharat. We hope to become net exporters of minerals and metals - giving an impetus to economic development in the country. Keep shining team HZL...looking forward to another record breaking year! #energytransition #sustainability
