We are thrilled to announce an exciting public artwork collaboration with National College of Art & Design and St. Catherine's National School. We unveiled a vibrant public art installation on Monday April 29th, at our Player Wills development on South Circular Road. The artwork was created by talented young artists at St Catherine’s School in Dublin 8. NCAD illustration alumni Jennifer Mongey Balfe and Brandon O’Rourke led workshops with 5th and 6th class pupils from St. Catherine’s. The children produced delightful line drawings inspired by their local community. These drawings were then transformed into eight vibrant artworks by Jennifer and Brandon. The colourful pieces were installed on hoardings to create an outdoor gallery, introducing collective creativity to the local community. Thank you to NCAD, Projekt and St. Catherine's for contributing both your time and talent to deliver this incredible display of artworks to the area. #Collabortaion #Community #Art

Many thanks to Hines Ireland for inviting NCAD to collaborate on this fabulous local community outreach project. Creating the opportunity to work with St Catherine’s School teachers and pupils on this fun public art exhibition was a great way to inspire the next generation of creatives in Dublin 8. A very special thanks to all the young artists who produced really fantastic drawings for NCAD to work with. Thanks to Moriah Mickelbury at Hines Ireland for her enthusiasm and excellent project management; to Richard Smith at Projekt for his technical print expertise and professionalism; to my NCAD colleague Jill Woodnutt for her leadership and guidance; and lastly to Jen Mongey-Balfe and Brandon O’Rourke for your remarkable creativity and commitment to making the most of this collaboration. This was such a super partnership project to work on. I encourage everyone to visit the public art exhibition.
