“After growing more than three times its pre-pandemic size, the healthcare staffing sector experienced its first year of normalization in 2023, contracting by 24%, driven by a 40% drop in the travel nurse segment and a 22% decrease in the per diem segment as volumes trended downwards and pay rates continued to push down. However, let’s have an honest conversation though, because we are fully transparent and open. 🖐🏽 Do we get nurses that are late - yes, do we deal with it ❓ yes ❗ 🖐🏽 Occasionally someone might get confused or forget they accepted a shift, we are human after all, mistakes do happen. Do we react and ensure your service gets covered ❓ YES ❗ ℹ️ Another fact, there are providers around that do not do this, that you dread the 8.00am phone call from. They leave your service in a critical emergency and fearing regulators. AGENCY SHOULD BE VALUE ADDED. This is the level of service we offer, we dont ASK for your shifts get them and throw any old name at it and send you a meaningless rota, praying and hoping that we will fill it a later date or do a quick sneaky name change without you realising, or worse still call you with the dreaded 8.00am call with the nurse is sick excuse.
