While a very strong argument can be made that the heart of Middle East problems is Iran, there is one equally important problem that if resolved will weaken the Islamic Republic's foreign policy strategies. Washington can no longer be complicit and hypocritical when it comes to Israel. The US needs to do more to bring about a two-state solution between Israel and Palestine which then will most likely lead to normalized relations between Israel and its neighbors – like Saudi Arabia. As a result, Tehran’s zero-sum foreign policy, and its decades-long narrative, towards the United States and Israel will essentially evaporate. Thus leaving the Islamic Republic scrambling to find a new reason why their existence is necessary; and while that’s happening, the regime’s vulnerability may open opportunities for domestic change and subsequently lead to less problems throughout the Middle East.

I am hoping that the ROK and Nippon can somehow pull off a "Hail Mary" of sorts and convert or turn enough of the DPRK's inner circles to bring about peaceful reunification of United Korean Republic. There is the question of territory that needs to be resolved to win them over, however. The PRC provinces of Liaoning, Jilin, and Heilongjiang, as well as the adjacent Russian oblast to the east of Heilongjiang are traditionally Korean lands, lands that are arable and which the Korean people will need to feed its population.
