Message from the founder: I have thought long and hard—scratching and restarting, as many business leaders do when drafting their mission statement. In many ways, I put it off because I wasn’t sure what defined our organization. A mission statement is powerful—it should speak to the team about shared goals, to clients and customers about our direction and efforts, and to strategic partners about creating win-win scenarios. It’s the commander’s intent, and defining myself as a commander is daunting. Putting our mission out there means we are moving forward, even if everything isn’t perfect. I have to push past doubts and believe in my role as a CEO despite the odds. Today, I’m sharing our mission statement, ready to lead us to success. This mission is more than words; it’s our commitment to our clients and our purpose. By aligning our expertise with our clients’ strategic goals, we help them achieve success and foster a culture of excellence and innovation. Now, it’s time to build our team! I am excited to announce that we are hiring in Phoenix for an HR Assistant. If you are passionate about HR and want to be part of a dynamic and collaborative environment, we would love to hear from you. Thank you to all our clients, partners, and stakeholders for your trust and support. Together, we are driving success and growth, one step at a time. #HRsolutions #Collaboration #Success #EmployeeEngagement #KayEmmHR #MissionDriven #LeadershipJourney #Hiring #PhoenixJobs

🥳 HAPPY NATIONAL HUMAN RESOURCE DAY! 🥳 Human Resource Professionals deserve more than a day of recognition. These incredible professionals juggle a lot of balls. They must have strong ethics and are skilled in communication, organization, and conflict management. I can't imagine juggling the responsibilities HR professionals deal with daily. In small businesses, the business owner often handles the functions of HR management. As the business grows, the role may be assigned to an office manager. In large companies, there is an entire HR department, considering all the different functions they perform. They are responsible for career development and growth, providing guidance and support. HR handle hiring/firing and delivering employee-valued programs. They develop and maintain a positive working environment, internal issues, training. And the list goes on... They must often be multi-taskers with a lot of patience and discretion. ❤️ Reach out today to someone you know in Human Resources and thank them for the work they do. Human Resource Management is far more than just dealing with hiring, benefits and employee issues. A good HR Manager has a drive to help the business grow. They want to see every employee succeed and grow - even if it’s eventually not with their company. QUALITIES: ✅ Integrity ✅Aware that all their actions “teach” employees how to act in the business. ✅Strong problem solving skills ✅Sympathetic, but not in a way that allows for gray lines or sweeping issues under the rug. ✅Feels a genuine social responsibility ✅Goal & Results driven ✅Analytical ✅Flexible as business needs arise ✅Focused, but can easily multi task Human Resource Managers organize, coordinate, and execute/direct the administrative functions of an organization. They recruit, interview, & hire new staff. On a daily basis, they consult with executives on strategy; serving as a liaison between an organization's management & it’s employees. When hiring an HR Manager, specific working experience is important. However, do not underestimate the value of other professional experiences when searching for your company’s right fit. If the HR Manager is not a good fit, it will affect the entire company.

🌟 At the heart of every successful organization lies the alignment of Culture and Role Design. Let me share a story that underscores just how imperative it is for these two elements to align: Not all marketing coordinators are created equal, nor are HR coordinators. The nuances within roles can make all the difference in someone's success within a company. Take, for example, the recent experience of filling a benefits specialist role. The business had a clear understanding of its culture – polished, professional, yet warm and welcoming. They weren't just looking for an administrator. They needed someone who could be proactive, someone who could go beyond the basics. They knew they wanted an individual who could not only handle the technical aspects of the role but also possess the empathy and initiative to reach out to employees, anticipate their needs, and provide support before it was even requested. Together, we crafted a role design that matched these specific requirements. It wasn't just about filling a position. It was about finding the best candidate who would thrive within the unique culture of their business. This story underscores the importance of understanding your company's culture and designing roles that complement it. When culture and role design align, it sets the stage for success – for both the individual and the business as a whole. How do you think organizations can better communicate their culture to potential candidates during the hiring process? #tilleyworkforcesolutions #recruiting #culture #roledesign #hiringstrategies

Fractional CHRO, HR Advisor, Culture Strategist, Performance Enabler & People Developer focused on assisting Organizations to achieve their ROI's!
In the past few months, I've noticed many tech companies, startups, and mid-sized businesses advertising HR Manager positions requiring 3-5 years of experience, with a compensation range of PKR 60-80K or a bit more. To these companies, I offer the following advice: - Understand the true meaning of a “Manager.” A mid-management HR role exists to provide at least competent to proficient level of expertise & guidance on HR systems and processes while handling operational tasks that ensure daily operations meet quality standards. - This position requires maturity to deal with diverse personalities and foster cross-functional collaboration. - Expecting such individuals to develop your HR strategy, performance management system, or talent acquisition strategy is akin to asking a day laborer to design and build your house on sturdy foundations. - Hiring candidates with limited experience for such crucial roles sets them up for failure and ultimately harms your organization. To the young CEOs, I urge: - Setting the foundation for your people-related functions and systems requires individuals who can analyze your organization's culture, structure, and decision-making matrix. - They should have a deep understanding of which systems will work for your company. - They need excellent communication skills. - They should be able to collaborate with the CEO and line managers to secure their buy-in. - If you think you will guide them on what and when to do tasks, you're operating at a very operational level, diverting your time, focus, and energy from business strategy. - They should not act as a post office for the CEO’s office. “It doesn't make sense to hire smart people and tell them what to do. We hire smart people so they can tell us what to do.” – Steve Jobs

Recently, a hiring manager asked me, “Elise, I don’t know the difference between a CPO and a CHRO. Which do I hire?” For the record, a CPO (chief people officer) typically has a larger remit and handles more than traditional HR, but the definition is loose. This isn’t the only role with nuances. Some companies have a chief legal officer (CLO), while others stick to general counsel. Then there’s the subtle difference between customer support manager and customer success manager. A lot of it comes down to semantics, but my point is this: A recruiter can help you figure out exactly who you’re trying to hire and how to appeal to the right segment of the talent market, regardless of what you call the job. We can work with you to define roles and responsibilities based on your current organizations and the different business moving parts and also (critical, always) your culture ! Reach out if you are looking for this partnership with your team and clarity! https://lnkd.in/gxpsmxPH
