A little chuckle for your Fri-yay! Ironically, the more reliable you are, the more you are taken for granted. I’ve often had to remind leaders that NOT hearing a peep from your HR department is typically a GREAT thing…means all the right pieces are moving in sync. But from a strategic perspective, don’t fall into the trap of complacency. “Perfection” is fleeting because circumstances change, new challenges arise, and expectations evolve. Anticipating needs involves proactive thinking and planning for future requirements or challenges before they arise. It’s a strategic approach that helps prevents issues and ensures readiness to effectively address them when they do occur.

Add administrative support, payroll and tax expert, accountant, auditor, leaves and benefits consultant, vendor relations manager, data analyst, technical guru, project manager, teacher, event coordinator, business leader, strategist, emergency responder, yoga instructor (for how flexible we have to be, and therefore how “zen” we’ve learned to be amidst the chaos), and so much more… Being an HR professional is not for the faint of heart. While we may wear many hats, we only wear one badge: “people matter.” Without people, everything else crumbles. Even in a world with AI, which is an excellent tool to add efficiencies to our processes, embracing and caring for the human element in our workforce is what truly gives businesses a competitive advantage in today’s post-pandemic world. As someone deeply embedded in the HR field, I can tell you that this couldn't be further from the truth. Let's shed some light on the pivotal roles HR professionals play in any organization: 1. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition HR is the gatekeeper of talent, ensuring that the right people join the organization. This involves: Crafting detailed job descriptions. Sifting through countless resumes. Conducting interviews and assessments. Onboarding new hires to set them up for success. 2. Employee Relations and Engagement We are the ones who: Mediate conflicts and ensure a harmonious workplace. Foster a positive work culture through engagement activities and initiatives. Listen to employee concerns and work tirelessly to address them. 3. Compensation and Benefits HR ensures that employees are compensated fairly and competitively. This includes: Managing payroll and benefits administration. Conducting market salary surveys. Designing comprehensive benefits packages to meet employees' needs. 4. Training and Development We invest in the growth and development of employees by: Organizing training sessions and professional development programs. Creating career development plans. Ensuring continuous learning opportunities are available. 5. Compliance and Legal Responsibilities HR ensures that the company adheres to all legal requirements, including: Implementing policies that comply with labor laws. Conducting regular appraisals and feedback sessions. Helping employees set and achieve their professional goals. 7. Strategic Planning HR is not just about the present but also the future. Yes these HR's is not working properly. I enjoy being able to help people and fulfil their requirements by hiring the right people for their organisation according to the company's profile . The tasks we love to engage in every day to day tasks is to handle our employees relations , solve their grievances , maintain a healthy environment to work effectively, also the employees share their emotions concisely. #humanresouce #hr #job #hrmanager

Quite a shame to see educated folks saying: HR to bas rangoli banate hai!!!!! From your Resume screening to your Exit Letter. Your HR Exists and plays a crucial role. Every small query you have had, every event that was ever hosted, all the celebrations we did, every new request considered by management, every piece of flexibility added to your work. Your HR was there doing it for you. I am not sure if we still want appreciation but at least recognise the work we do! Speaking at the employer level: The companies need to understand HR is the ground-level facilitator to all employees, it is your day-to-day operations face to the esteemed employees working for you. Recognize HR.
