The International Women's Day holds great significance for me, and its importance endures as the world faces ongoing challenges in achieving gender equality. Despite many strong developments, in the aviation industry too, a critical barrier persists: the underrepresentation of women, especially in STEM roles. Limited access to development and promotion opportunities coupled with a lack of structural support hinders the career advancement of talented women in our field. At SkyTeam and our member airlines, we recognize the importance of nurturing female talent and fostering diversity.
